I was craving pho so I googled search and this restaurant came up and it was bookmarked from my previous search. it is walkable from Tokyo station but restaurants is close to another JR train station. I have had good pho while in Japan but their pho was mediocre. the broth lacks much flavor and I did not enjoy the noodle they used nor the consistency of it. I got their lunch special set. I chose beef pho. Beef was tender enough. spring roll rice skin was a little chewy. Condiments on the table includes hot sauce, pickled tiger chili and garlic, and black pepper. it wasn’t crowded when I went on a weekend. it is spacious enough but the temperature wasn’t comfortable to me. It was hot in there. The service is lacking and not attentive. I was sat down and was ready to order for a good amount of time but no one came to check if I was ready to order. I guess you have to flag them down. and when I was ready to pay, I stood at the cashier desk for a good 10mins without anyone noticing me. I had to walk up to the staff in the kitchen to notified them. the worst thing is I saw the waitress cough into her hand and proceeded to continue refilling the pickles garlic without even a pause to think of washing her hands when handling food. first time Google has failed me with the ratings.
View on GoogleI went there right when the restaurant opened at 11 AM, and there were no customers at that time. For me, the pho was just okay — not amazing. I didn’t really like the broth, as it didn’t have much flavor. The restaurant is spacious and has a wide variety of menu options. They also offer lunch sets at a reasonable price, and the set comes with dessert. However, for me, I couldn’t finish everything in the set because the food wasn’t very impressive.
View on GoogleDelicious food and good service. The pig's ear salad is a real taste of Vietnam. They offer Vietnamese beer. The seating is a mix of Western table and high counter seating.
View on GoogleHands down one of the best Bun Cha I’ve had in town. Hidden away in the basement of a random business park, this spot turned out to be surprisingly spacious, spotless, and well-organized. The menu is massive, stacked with Vietnamese classics — from Pho and Bun Bo Hue to crispy Viet crêpes and, of course, Bun Cha. We especially loved the northern-style fried spring rolls wrapped in rice paper. The Bun Cha itself was perfect: something we rarely find back home, and when we do, it’s never done right. The light dipping fish sauce paired beautifully with the vermicelli noodles, while the smoky, charcoal-grilled pork belly was absolute heaven. Overall, the service was great, prices were fair, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. A true hidden gem.
View on GoogleAuthentic and flavourful. We ordered a few snacks and 2 noodle soups. Portions were generous. Not much msg.
