Good quality, though it seems slightly pricy for what you get. Staff are nicely friendly with no BS and willing to modify menus if you ask, eg less rice, replace some neta fish with another kind of similar price range, etc. There are topping options to add more neta fish. I added Ikura topping for 660 yen. Miso soup comes with, and it was tasty. Cozy seatings and good for solo or couples. Not for large groups.

Had my best bowl of sushi here. Better than at a more expensive place I had gone to earlier. Place is small but functions very efficiently. There is an elderly man that takes your order first and you pay him. There are 6 chairs for waiting. When the poeple in front of you get seated you move over and take their seat, kind of like musical chairs. Would come back to the market and eat here again.

The fish was very fresh and we loved the food, but the place is very basic.

Fresh sushi in the heart of Tsukiji. We stumbled into this sushi restaurant by chance as we had not done much research as to where to eat, and we were also hungry and didn't want to wait in one of the places with longer lines. With only 4 people in line at the time and large pictures of the menu posted on the outside wall, we decided to give it a shot. The picture in this review is of their signature Omakase Don which features a variety of the daily catch over a bed of sushi rice. It did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and spoke enough English to help non-Japanese speaking customers navigate the ordering process. The space is small, but not tight and cramped as some counter-type restaurants can be. Though the food itself didn't stand out in any spectacular way in terms of presentation or seasoning, it does a good job satisfying the main thing that people who are looking to eat sushi in Tsukiji Market want. Fresh fish straight from the ocean.

The sushi is as good as you'd expect in the heart of Tsukiji. Apparently bottomless tea and a free miso don't hurt either. A nice place to take the weight off and still enjoy the hustle and bustle.
