Great tasting pour over coffee, service is nice too. The place may be small but has a relaxing atmosphere!
View on GoogleA hidden gem cafe I don't want to tell anyone about! The shop was along Shinagawa-dori, a 3-minute walk from Chofu Station. When you enter, it really feels like a "cafe". The staff kindly taught me about coffee♪ This time I bought a hot cafe latte. They also provided a decaf option for free! It was mellow and delicious! There is an eat-in space on the 2nd floor, and since it was empty on a weekday afternoon, I was able to spend time comfortably! I will definitely come again♪
View on GoogleDining only on the 2nd floor. I ordered iced coffee and rich butter chicken curry. You can choose the beans for the coffee, but I left it to them. The curry was spicy and delicious😋 The entrance to the shop is narrow and it feels a bit hesitant to enter. The 2nd floor looked clean with a white-based feel.
View on GoogleI come here often. Order on the 1st floor and the 2nd floor is for seating. On sunny days, sunlight streams in, making the shop bright. Since they drip the coffee after you order, the aroma of coffee drifts through the shop while waiting, making me feel happy. The coffee is delicious!! You can also choose flavored syrups for the cafe latte, so I'm always wondering what to choose today. There is also a food menu, I ordered the gateau chocolat. The gateau chocolat is not too sweet and firm, and the dried fruit on the side is a nice touch. Was this originally an old room or something? The structure of the room remains in some places, maybe it was renovated, the old glass windows and pillars are also stylish. There are power outlets at the counter seats and the view of the fields from the window is peaceful. It's a shop where I want to stay for hours alone!!
View on GoogleIt seems the cafe on the 2nd floor was closed during the pandemic, but I found the cafe menu posted on the sign along the street for the first time in a while! There are way more food menus than before! Curry went from 1 type to 3 types, a spice curry lineup... So, I visited aiming for the curry. When I asked at the order counter at the entrance, "Is it okay to just eat?", they kindly said yes. I ordered the pork belly and seasonal vegetable curry, which seems to be the most popular, and the butter chicken curry. Since this is a shop that mainly sells coffee beans, I thought the curry, which isn't their main business, wouldn't be anything special, but it took quite a while to be served... This doesn't look like it was microwaved... (sorry). The curry that came out had a nice spice aroma! The side dish is potato salad and fukujinzuke instead of achar, that must be intentional. The taste of the curry is a proper spice curry. The vegetable curry is full of vegetables as the name suggests. The fat and umami of the pork belly have melted into the whole thing. The butter chicken curry is not the sweet type that emphasizes the creaminess of coconut milk or nuts, but an adult taste that brings out the acidity of tomatoes and spices! I got heartburn after eating butter chicken curry at Matsuya, but this is very much to my taste. When it was brought, I thought, "Will it be enough?", but after finishing it, I was quite full. It's more filling than stylish cafe food. When it comes to curry in Chofu, there's "M's kitchen" and "Karendo", but since the taste is different from both, it seems like they can be used for different purposes. The downside is probably the thorough pandemic ventilation and the building structure that makes the air conditioning less effective. There is Wi-Fi and the interior atmosphere is excellent, but you can't stay long in winter... Maybe it's good in spring or autumn.
