Delicious and warm atmosphere!

June 2026 This is a renowned place in 深大寺. I enjoyed superb sushi at the counter. 特上寿し (3850円) First came the salad. A colorful salad full of vibrant colors. I savored the wonderful sushi. The length of the plate surprised me too. The toppings were fresh and generously sized, making it satisfying◎ Even toro and uni! So luxurious〜! I was happy to spend such a delicious, enjoyable time here. Apparently this sushi shop has been in business for 56 years. I thought it was a renowned establishment with a long history in 深大寺. ※Parking for 2 cars available.

It's a small shop with 9 counter seats. There seems to be a tatami room on the 2nd floor, but apparently they're only using the counter now because they're short-staffed. There are 4 parking spaces: 2 across the road from the shop and 2 at a nearby establishment called 白金亭. I ordered takeout, but all the seats were booked. For a belated Father's Day and Mother's Day celebration, we ordered 特上ちらし and 特上にぎり, plus 上ちらし and 上にぎり for ourselves. The toppings were fresh and very delicious. The 特上 toppings are luxurious. The chirashi even included abalone. Even the 上 was plenty good; the lean tuna was marinated, meltingly tender, and delicious. The sushi rice wasn't particularly vinegary, which suited our family's tastes. The chirashi also had a lot of rice, leaving us full.

This chirashi sushi was served when I visited a friend's house. There was a quail egg inside the rolled omelet, and the takuan was rolled up too. I was impressed by the effort put into it. The vinegared rice had the noticeable vinegar flavor I like, which kept me eating. (Some shops have sushi rice that's almost like plain rice.) The toppings were large, very satisfying, and delicious. I'd like to visit the shop next time.

I never imagined there'd be such a delicious place here! The squid was translucent, and the other toppings were thick and delicious too. Yet the prices were reasonable. I thought this would surely make someone happy if you treated them to a meal.
