View on Google【For an anniversary choosing quiet amid the noise still conveyed in every dish the intent to welcome】 My wife and I visited for dinner on our wedding anniversary. It had been over ten years for me, while my wife apparently came recently with friends. Throughout the restaurant, you could sense their desire to serve each dish with care. A group made the interior a little noisy, but we still enjoyed a leisurely meal. The atmosphere made it easy to understand why they're apparently always fully booked. 〈What stood out〉 ◆ Thoughtful preparation The asparagus had small cuts so it wouldn't feel tough when bitten. Such subtle consideration for ease of eating is wonderful. ◆ Generous attention The garnishes served with sashimi and other dishes were plentiful in both variety and quantity. It was nice to see attention paid to the supporting ingredients that enhance the main ones. ◆ Attentive service Condiments aren't kept on the table; staff bring them in small dishes for each course. For example, two soy sauce dishes were provided with the sashimi to suit the garnishes (wasabi and ginger). ⸻ 〈What we ordered〉 ・Otoshi appetizer ・Charcoal-grilled baby corn ◯ ・Seared tuna cheek ・Three-kind sashimi platter (small) ・Three-kind lightly pickled vegetable platter ・Charcoal-grilled salmon belly ・Nori-wrapped grilled nagaimo ◯ ・Whitebait with coarsely grated daikon ・Charcoal-grilled asparagus ◯ ・Dashi chazuke ■ Draft beer/れんと/龍宮かめ仕込み/オールフリー And what particularly stood out was―― ◆ Thai curry dipping soba ◎ Perhaps a little dashi had been added to the green curry, giving it a softness beneath the heat and a deep flavor. The aromatic ethnic spices weren't overpowering and blended naturally with Japanese soba. Dipping the noodles coated them well with curry flavor while leaving a clean finish. It was an unexpected combination, but everything came together naturally, making it memorable. I'd like to try it again if I get the chance. I have a feeling a journey in search of green curry soba or curry soba is about to begin…. Thanks for the meal.

View on GoogleFor robatayaki in 調布, 調風 is the clear choice. It's always full. You can pretty much assume same-day reservations will be difficult. I recommend booking ahead. Full marks for service. The smiling, pleasant service keeps the drinks flowing. Needless to say, all the food is delicious. You'd expect food to take longer with every table full, but the time from ordering to serving stays almost the same. Impressive. Those grilled hard clams were delicious〜. There's a semi-private room with sunken-floor seating in the back, so it works for business entertaining or dates too.
View on GoogleMy first visit, after an acquaintance made a reservation. The sign at the entrance saying they use binchotan charcoal and the brick-built grill in the kitchen raised my expectations. We ordered the robatayaki enjoyment course and sashimi from the last 1 filefish in the restaurant's tank. Every vegetable in the starter salad was crisp, showing the quality of the ingredients. The main-course beef was high-quality and juicy too, grilled to perfection. We were very satisfied with the variety of dishes, especially the memorable fava beans and new-season onions. They were cooked through until the skins charred, then peeled to eat. The fava beans lost their distinctive smell, leaving a delicious, concentrated bean flavor. The new-season onion was meltingly soft, with just the right sweetness filling the mouth. Alongside the chef's recommendation, unpasteurized sake 【開運】 made from 100 percent 山田錦, the drinks went down even more easily. The additional filefish was sliced just right to enjoy its texture—GOOD. The chef's eye for ingredients, knife skills, and grilling were all superb. I've found an excellent restaurant with unbeatable value. I forgot to photograph the new-season onion, so please go try it yourselves!
