Good ramen.
View on GoogleTastes great! Cheap! Clean inside! The owner is humble and a good guy! The やわ肉温玉丼 is delicious too😋 I've found authentic Hakata tonkotsu ramen worthy of ☆5! Wish I'd come sooner☻
View on GoogleDelicious, authentic Hakata tonkotsu! I felt the kaeshi seasoning was a little weak, but it tasted good, so no problem. Another plus was that the spicy takana was considerably better than at other places. At 800円 a bowl, it's inexpensive, and I'd like to go again.
View on GoogleThe best tonkotsu ramen in Tokyo! The snacks are delicious too, so the beer keeps flowing.
View on Google博多とんこつらーめん ひゅうが@ 東京都調布市下石原2-21-10 Hi, it's Sapio ✍️博多とんこつラーメン 800円 ______________ 🍥Highlights ✅Soaks into every part of you… That aged aroma hooks you! A Hakata tonkotsu ramen shop with outstandingly powerful broth and kaeshi! ✅A place for drinks with plenty of snacks ✅Open 18–26 ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ [Score] 85 points ☆4.0 [Access] “Nishi-Chofu Station” (499m) [Closed] Sunday [Order] 博多とんこつラーメン 800円 [Queue・System] No queue・Order verbally, pay afterward [Flavor] Tonkotsu Today I'm introducing a Hakata tonkotsu shop quietly operating only at night in Nishi-Chofu. Apparently it relocated from somewhere nearby, and has 0 reports on Ramen Database. Even before relocating it had only 2 reports—quite a hidden spot. The shop is one building's depth down a side street from the main road. It's hard to notice from the road. It seems buried in the residential neighborhood. On entering, there's a gentle fermented pork aroma. A moderate fragrance, just the level I like. Inside are counter and table seats. The middle-aged owner runs everything alone. The exterior looks relatively new, so the sight of this quietly seasoned owner surprised me. One table is marked “Not in use because this is a one-person operation”. Looking at X (formerly Twitter), there's a pained tweet saying, “We're closing because I've reached the limits of running this alone”. As I go to sit down, he calls out, “I'll come over in about 3 minutes, so please wait a moment”. Looking at the menu, Hakata tonkotsu is the only ramen. On the back are stir-fried offal dishes, so it's a place for a casual drink too. It's wonderful, like a Hakata food stall has come here. I order 博多とんこつラーメン. Service goes smoothly. ______________ 🟦Impressions ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ The bowl has a brown appearance with floating fat bubbles and a strong soy sauce seasoning. The aged tonkotsu aroma drifts out of the soup… As tonkotsu aromas go, it's just the right gentle waft. Then comes a tonkotsu flavor with a distinctly bony character. Perhaps the authentic touch is the strong soy sauce seasoning that sharpens the flavor's outline. Although rich on the palate with pork foam floating on top, it's not too heavy. So I keep drinking the soup…. Seriously, this delicious tonkotsu shop is practically unknown? The noodles are thin and straight, from 菅野製麺所. Low hydration gives them a dry, clean-breaking bite. I ordered “normal” firmness, but they seemed quite firm. Still, perhaps that dry, floury texture is exactly what makes it Hakata tonkotsu. The toppings are chashu, wood ear mushrooms, and aonori. At the end, I add the extra-spicy takana on the table for an accent… The takana is juicy, and I liked the balance of heat and acidity. I finish everything with pleasure. If I get the chance to return, I'd like to tackle some stir-fried offal with shochu or something, then finish with ramen. Thank you for the meal.
