Vegetable tanmen: 700円 The wall menu called it 『vegetable tanmen』, while the table menu said 『vegetable soba』. The noodles are chewy. The toppings consist of chashu, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrot, onion, garlic chives, long green onion, wood ear mushrooms, and dried shrimp. The chashu is thinly shredded, juicy and delicious, but there's very little. Dried shrimp to boost the flavor??? The broth is salt-based. Its umami comes from chemical seasoning, making the flavor monotonous. The salt and oil levels seem appropriate. The interior feels clean, but service is average. Thank you for the meal.

I've been coming with my family since I was a child. They're a friendly, kind Chinese couple. I recommend the gomoku tofu; if you ask for extra wood ear mushrooms, they'll add a little more.

Cheap ramen for \500, with surprisingly substantial toppings; it tasted like old-fashioned soy sauce ramen and was delicious. The broth is gentle and lightly salted but has solid depth; it's not prominent, but there may be a little dried-fish-flake stock in it. The noodles are thin but firm and chewy. Among the toppings, the chashu was especially delicious. It's simmered until almost melting, without any off-putting taste, with good aroma and seasoning; I'd like to try the chashu ramen next time. The green onion is fragrant too. The nori and bean sprouts are good, and the menma is understated. The small mapo rice bowl I ordered as a set had clumped-up rice and wasn't tasty. It was quiet even at lunchtime, so there may be other menu land mines, but the ramen was delicious.

I had the mapo rice bowl and ramen set. It was delicious. It seems to be run by one person, so if you come in a large group, it may take time for everyone's dishes to arrive.

The yurinchi had a nice yuzu flavor and was especially delicious. The garlic-chive gyoza were packed with chives and tasty too. Another restaurant added to my list of places to revisit.
