A cafe I'd been curious about for a while. I don't do well with caffeine, so I was happy to see a decaf option on the menu. They grind the beans by hand, and waiting while soothed by the sound and aroma of the beans was such happiness. The generous cafe latte was delicious! I also ordered a mocca doughnut, available only on certain days, as recommended by the staff. Its coffee cream contains cream cheese, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tang, just right with the cafe latte! Carefully selected sweets change daily to go with the coffee, and I'd love to try various ones. The staff member's smile was lovely too.

This shop sells specialty coffee beans roasted in-house. There is also a cafe space inside where you can enjoy delicious hand-drip coffee. Their summer-only cold-brew coffee packs are so popular that they sell out every year. Apparently, they're also offered as furusato nozei gifts. The owner runs the shop alone, so customers sometimes have to wait, but it's generally quiet, and I use it when I want to zone out over coffee and relax. I buy beans for home here too. They're pricier than at a certain imported-goods shop, but once coffee lovers discover these beans' aroma and flavor, I think they'll choose these. You either walk from Nishi-Chofu Station or drive to Shinagawa-dori, so access isn't great, but personally, because it's so delicious, it's one of the places I hope doesn't get too crowded.

When you enter, you feel a comfortable atmosphere where you can take your time. Even though I don't know much about coffee, it's delicious enough for me to think, “This is different from other shops.” It has an authentic flavor that conveys the care put into brewing it. Thanks to this shop, I realized that coffee can have a soothing effect like aromatherapy. Even the aroma calms my mind, and I can feel my everyday fatigue easing. They used to sell vegetables too, but even since becoming a coffee specialist, they still welcome us warmly. I can visit comfortably even with small children, and their kind service makes me very happy. Lately, my favorite is the strong iced cafe latte. It's so delicious that I'd love many people to try it♪

After eating tsukemen in the Nishi-Chofu area, I felt like having coffee and visited here. It's on a main road, so it's easy to find. A homely shop that also sells vegetables and coffee beans. The espresso machine looks cool. I considered having a drink, but they had affogato, so I chose that. It might have been ages since my last affogato! Affogato is a grown-up dessert of cold vanilla ice cream topped with plenty of espresso. The gentle sweetness of vanilla pairs perfectly with espresso's bitterness. That bitterness is so good. The indoor seats were full, so I had it to take away. I'd like to visit again when I'm nearby.
