LOOKS Good
View on GoogleSaturday, the first day of the 3-day holiday in mid-July, I stopped by for a holy pilgrimage of standing soba while walking. This is Manyo Soba in Tsutsujigaoka. It is said that this is a C&C curry series shop. Visit around 7:40 am. The shop size is 10 counter seats, 4 tables for 2 people, 1 seat for 1 person. All are chairs, so you can eat leisurely. It was said on the air that it is popular with women, so I ordered the cold ashitaba tempura soba that Tsukachan also ate. This claims to be ni-hachi soba, but there is indeed a soba feeling and it is different from other standing soba shops. The noodles are also firm and very delicious. Ashitaba tempura is fragrant. Whether it's freshly fried, it's crispy. There was also an owner who was a former professional boxer. When I asked for permission to take a picture of the autograph, he agreed happily. The greeting is also solid and the customer service is good. It's self-service, but you can add soba water and dashi, so the service is also good. I understand why there are many female customers. Tsutsujigaoka was a good distance for walking, so I want to visit again.
View on GoogleMarch 10, 2026 07:00 Visit: Entered almost at the same time as the morning opening. Ordered a set of mini kakiage bowl and soba. Kakiage is crispy, and the dashi was delicious. Soba thickness is uneven. Flat noodles blend well with the dashi and were delicious. Thank you for the meal. Thanks
View on GoogleBecause it is on the north exit rotary side of the station, it is very convenient to stop by on the way home from work or between trips. You can enjoy authentic soba that is freshly boiled and freshly fried, which overturns the image of general station-front soba. Serving is speedy and very satisfying even when there is no time. The soup using dashi is also delicious, and it is a famous shop with high satisfaction in one bowl.
View on GoogleProvides noodles of very high quality as station soba. I don't eat standing soba very often, so I almost only knew famous shops. However, the soba here has a texture that is almost handmade. Today I ordered double portion of mori soba. As for aroma, soba aroma is lacking, but you shouldn't say such luxury at this price. If there is aroma of this level, you should be satisfied. Texture is also quite good, and I think they are trying quite hard. However, salty soup cannot be praised. First of all, dashi, fishy smell wins too much. I think mackerel smell is the main one. Other mixtures are mixed, but it is one that is trying hard. What bothers me is salt, sugar. Because it's not used to it, meaning it's not a taste that has been rested, the corners of salt and sugar are not removed. I think this is the limit as standing soba. Even so, putting salt, even if it's cheap, you should stop. The precious effort of soba is ruined. As for the amount of serving, when I first saw it, I was a little sad, eh only this much. If this amount is with double portion, usually the amount is quite hesitant. My stomach was not satisfied, so I was confused whether to order more here or eat again at another shop. Finally I bought two side dish breads at Seven and ate them in the park. Because soba soup and dashi are prepared separately in a thermal pot, this is a pleasant service. And because double portion had salty soup added separately, I was grateful. In conclusion, because I felt enough effort as a station soba shop, for me it is four stars as station soba.
