It's a small shop with only counter seating. It feels like a combination of an izakaya and a bar (I think the shop itself advertised something like that too), but it's extremely laid-back and comfortable. The owner is good-natured. I think the customers drawn to an owner like that also play a part in creating the atmosphere. There aren't many menu items, but the thoughtfully devised otoshi always impresses me. Rather than a professional chef, the owner is more like an amateur who's good at cooking; I always feel that people like that are actually the ones who serve particularly thoughtful dishes. Though I only visit occasionally.

An unusual place—an izakaya, a snack bar, or a bar, it's hard to say. Every passing train brings noise and vibrations, so it's good when you want to immerse yourself in a down-at-heel atmosphere. Prices are average or slightly cheap.

It's a good place. The owner runs everything alone, so there are considerations around preparation and such, but every item on the menu is very delicious.
