We relocated on February 22, 2022😄 It is a 12-minute walk from Chofu Station, Nishi-Chofu Station, or Keio-Tamagawa Station🚶‍♀️ Turning the lack of a nearest station to our advantage, we aim to become a hidden destination for drink lovers, a new power spot💪 It is a tiny, tiny bar with counter seating only. Our interior concept is wood, sound, tableware, and light.🌳🎷🍶💡 I think we have quite a few fish dishes. We always offer both hearty dishes and lighter snacks. We keep around 7〜8 varieties of regional sake available (trying for 10!)🍶 I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused by our circumstances, but since I run everything alone, there may be times when I cannot answer the phone or am rushing around the shop on my own…

This small restaurant is near the Kojimacho intersection, on the left when heading toward Nishi-Chofu from Shinagawa Kaido. It is quite far from Chofu Station, in an area without bus service, and has no parking because it is an izakaya. It is a compact shop in a modest location. Not only are all the menus handwritten, but all the drinks and dishes served are personally made by the owner and are creative. There is quite a selection of regional Japanese sake, and the sours are not just ordinary syrup mixed with soda; each has some special touch. Many dishes are carefully prepared, so the name describing it as a small-dish tavern is well deserved. They do not offer the usual yakitori, offal, or stewed dishes, which suggests the owner's confidence in his cooking. Even the hot sake is thoughtfully handled: instead of simply heating it in a pot, he uses an insulated container and brings out an hourglass to indicate when it is ready to drink. That careful consideration is appealing. Since the owner basically works alone, you need to judge the timing when ordering or asking for the bill. The shop is also small, with 5 counter seats and 2 raised seating areas for 4 people each, so it is not somewhere to visit with a large group. It is closed on Sundays and only opens from the evening, making the available hours limited, so it is hard to visit unless you really intend to. But for anyone wanting to enjoy Japanese sake and food in a quiet atmosphere, I think this is absolutely a place worth making the effort to visit.

Along with the owner's lovely personality, the food is truly delicious! It is hard to find a place of this caliber around here, so I think making a reservation is the safest way to get in! Whatever you choose is delicious!

The original chicken nanban and fresh sashimi featuring ingredients specifically from Miyazaki are recommended.

I dropped in casually for the first time and was asked, “Do you have a reservation?” I did not understand this place. Isn't it an izakaya? It seems to require reservations.

The drinks and food were very delicious. Especially the assorted sashimi ¥990 Although it is a single serving, it includes 6 varieties with 2 pieces each, and everything is fresh and very tasty. The owner also has a lovely personality. I want to go again. (Large groups are difficult because seating is limited.) Given the shop's atmosphere, I highly recommend a quiet visit with a small group!
