Honestly the best ramen I've had in Japan thus far. It is a chain and they even have a restaurant in California somewhere apparently but I've had a lot of ramen in my time living in Japan and this is by far my favorite. It's a Fukushima style ramen and if you go make sure you get that chashu. 10/10 would eat again 😂

The new location is a few steps farther from the station but is slightly bigger and brighter. Ramen is still very good and the service is efficient!

I had the shoyu green onion ramen with thin noodles, but it was saltier than before and gave me the impression that the quality had declined. I also noticed a slight unpleasant smell in the chashu fat. I've been enjoying 坂内's flavor for over 30 years. Someday I'd like to have that authentic, light, old-fashioned Kitakata ramen again. Another characteristic of this branch is the constant line. However, I have to point out that slow turnover is what's behind it. The wait between seats becoming available and customers being shown in is long, so the line doesn't get shorter. As an extra note, the gyoza were utterly ordinary and didn't seem particularly carefully made. If they made the filling more flavorful, even for an extra 100円, I think I'd feel like ordering beer or rice too.

2026.8.25 Had tsukemen, fried rice, gyoza, and karaage. The tsukemen dipping broth had a bonito-based flavor and was delicious. 2026.2.22 My first visit. It's about a 6-minute walk from Chofu Station. I had chashu ramen. There's so much chashu on top that you can barely see the noodles. The noodles are thick and curly. The broth is light but rich in flavor. Thank you for the meal!

Visited after 12 on a weekday It was lunchtime, so customers kept arriving. Green onion ramen (1020円 including tax) Unusual for 坂内: you can choose thin or thick noodles. The usual flat, curly noodles are the thick ones. As expected, the chashu in the chashu ramen was on the thick side. Compared with other 坂内 branches, the chashu is thinner. The thinly sliced green onions are excellent.
