We stopped in here for lunch, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, despite us not speaking very much Japanese. The food was delicious, atmosphere was lovely, and they went above and beyond. We made a mistake with our timing and realized we had to leave much sooner than expected and felt very bad, but they were very helpful and put our food in to-go containers for us. We would recommend wholeheartedly, we're sorry we had to leave we when did because we would have gladly stayed much longer.

Kamameshi and yakitori were very delicious, and it was a shop that made me want to go again. I ordered a yakitori assortment. You can't choose the seasoning yourself, but the seasoning matches that skewer and the degree of grilling is good, it's exquisite. Also, the kamameshi had a proper rice crust and was delicious, I was able to finish it quickly. There are few types, but there are seasonal limited kamameshi, so it seemed like it would be fun no matter how many times I visited.

Kamameshi and yakitori are popular! Homey atmosphere for family dinner Dinner time at Natsuya near Tsutsujigaoka Station. It seems there are many local families, a restaurant with a good atmosphere where you can stop by casually. Above all, the freshly cooked kamameshi that you wait about 20 minutes after ordering is the best! The waiting time is also exciting. The steam and aroma the moment the lid is opened whet the appetite, and the rice served in a bowl, the umami of the ingredients is concentrated and it was exquisite. In addition to kamameshi, a la carte dishes such as yakitori are substantial, so I'm happy that I can enjoy snacks to bridge the time until the kamameshi is cooked. The price range is also reasonable, and even a family of 3 could enjoy delicious food without hesitation. I think it's a good shop rooted in the local area, easy to use for daily meals or when you want to be a little luxurious!

I went for lunch. I arrived at the shop around 14:00 which was a bit late and was able to sit down immediately. Since I'm not familiar with kamameshi to the point that I forget when I last ate it, I found this shop and was looking forward to it. Ordered the sakura shrimp and whitebait lunch set. While the kamameshi was being made, two small bowls came first. Next, two types of grilled skewers. And the hot kamameshi appeared. Memories of kamameshi I ate at an inn somewhere in the past were dug up. For me, the taste was a bit light, but the satisfaction is high. After the meal, coffee and warabimochi came. A luxurious lunch with everything. Maybe because it was a late entry, I was able to enjoy the meal leisurely without feeling noisy. The atmosphere inside the shop also matches Japanese food, and the shop staff also provided customer service with attention and care. At the entrance, they were also selling side dishes. I sometimes use Tsutsujigaoka, so this is a shop I want to stop by again.

You could say it's unpretentious kamameshi, of course there are menus with lots of ingredients, but the 1200 yen, 1350 yen price range for lunch such as standard gomoku kamameshi set or green onion chicken set, the rice is simple, truly the deliciousness of the main character. The non-concentrated seasoning is also very harmonious with the yakitori, fried eggplant, pickles, and miso soup in the set. The set price also includes chewy warabimochi and coffee as dessert. If I lived locally, I think I could go at least once a month. It seems there are many regulars, and even people alone can come casually. The dignity of the pot that doesn't know how many times it has been cooked, or you could say that's also the taste... Both the exterior and interior have the feel of an old shop. Since the number of seats is quite large, if it's not peak time, there is a high possibility that you can sit down immediately. Parking, if it's over 3500 yen, using an affiliated parking lot that is a bit far (near a bicycle shop etc.), it seems to be free for 1 hour. I parked at a coin parking on the west side, crossing Koshu Kaido. Since it was less than 1 hour, it was 200 yen. The area near the Keio Line rather than in front of the station or Koshu Kaido might be a bit expensive. There is a Times across from the shop too, but the road is narrow, and as a result I couldn't reach it, so I chose the parking above.
