Lacking something...
View on GoogleUsing yuzu from Kochi, it was fresh and refreshing, and I thought it blended well with the pork, niboshi, and dashi. Neither the chashu nor the menma stood out awkwardly, so the whole dish was enjoyable. There was a fair amount of fat, but with a light soup, perhaps a little extra is just right. The table condiments included vinegar and coarsely ground pepper, but perhaps because the soup felt light yet rich? The spicy character of the coarse pepper really shone. Vinegar seemed capable of neutralizing the oiliness, but with coarse pepper, you keep the richness and add flavor over it; I felt that was better because you could enjoy both. Coarsely ground black pepper made a positive flavor change when added to the soup, noodles, and chashu, so I'll keep that in mind when having shio ramen. I thought the service was matter-of-fact, but not cold—perhaps brief with just the right warmth? It wasn't bad…
View on Google2026.4.26 My first visit. It's about a 4-minute walk from Shibasaki Station. The staff are cold. I ordered special Tomachiri (1,300 yen) with seared cheese (300 yen). The noodles are thick and curly. The soup is a slightly thin tomato soup lacking depth, which felt unsatisfying. The chashu consists of one slice each of shoulder loin and belly. Toppings like the 2 wontons and egg are delicious. Satisfaction is low for the price. Thanks for the meal!
View on GoogleOrder:Seabura niboshi 900 yen Visit date:January 4, 2025 (Sunday) Visit time:12:12 Shop status:5 customers inside Opening time:11:00, closed:Mondays Ordering:ticket machine, water:self-service ①Niboshi details The soup combines a clear chicken-pork stock? with niboshi stock. It is slightly translucent with a dark soy-sauce color and back fat floating on the surface. The noodles are medium-thick and curly, topped with 1 slice of chashu, menma, and onion. ②Soup A lovely niboshi stock aroma! One sip reveals crisp, powerful niboshi and soy-sauce umami, firmly supported by the sweetness and richness of back fat—a delicious soup! It's fairly standard among seabura niboshi, the kind I'd come for when stuck for ideas rather than make a special trip. ③Noodles Smooth and slippery on the tongue, with strong firmness and elasticity and a pleasantly springy, chewy bite. ④Toppings The chashu is roasted pork, tender and melting in the mouth. Slightly rare and delicious! ⑤Other The menu had changed since my last visit a while ago. The formerly limited seabura niboshi is now permanent, and the katsuobushi chuka soba seems to have changed to yuzu shoyu! Still thriving as a popular place near Shibasaki Station! Delicious! Thanks for the meal(^-^)
View on GoogleMy first visit while nearby on an errand, and it was a delicious place. I ordered the slightly spicy tomato chili ramen. The spice and acidity were well balanced, and I enjoyed all the soup too🎵I also appreciated being able to adjust the spiciness. The chashu was tender and springy, and delicious too❕ Thanks for the meal.
