I had tsukemen! My husband ordered ramen! It's a delicious local favorite that people line up for! Even with a queue, you get in quickly. There's space to sit while waiting too! Very delicious! We've been many times! Thank you for the meal!😋

I can see why people who knew it back when it stood in front of Chofu Station want to keep coming. The lovely thing about 江川亭 調布店 is that it has preserved “that flavor” despite moving. Eating it again after a long time, I also felt it was the kind of ramen that brings memories flooding back with the first bite. That richness from the back fat and the punch of garlic are particularly addictive. It makes me want to ride my bicycle over just to eat it. Once I arrive, sit down, and breathe in the aroma rising from the bowl, I somehow find myself thinking, “This is what I wanted today”. The fat has a deeply rich savoriness, yet there's also the comforting familiarity of old-fashioned soy sauce ramen, in an exquisite balance. A bowl like this can easily fall apart if one element is too strong, but at 江川亭, everything seems beautifully unified as savory flavor. It's not a flashy shop, yet I suddenly find myself craving it at unexpected moments. That presence as “a ramen shop woven into everyday life” may be its greatest charm. It was another bowl that naturally left me thinking, “Right, I'll come again”.

The soy sauce tonkotsu you could taste along Kan-nana long, long ago. A popular flavor you could call the taste of Tokyo. 江川亭 is a rare place where you can enjoy it. Counting the former Komae branch too, I've been visiting the Chofu branch for about 30 years. A lot has changed since then, but the deliciousness remains reliably the same. The kids love the intensely garlicky soy sauce tonkotsu broth here. They say they want to try the entire menu. The parking spaces are fairly wide, so even cars with category 3 plates fit comfortably. I aimed to arrive at opening to avoid crowds, but only just managed to park. Everyone was thinking the same thing. Next time I'll stop by on the way back from Ajista.
