I love this place. It’s a mother and son restaurant that has a selection of pastas and desserts on the menu with the option of fresh pasta. Typically there is a ‘set’ option. The bolognese is super tasty and it always comes out quickly and is piping hot. The owners are very kind.

I tried the hotcakes I'd found online and had been wanting to eat. Even arriving first at opening with no other customers, it took about 30 minutes to serve because they only weigh the flour and start cooking after receiving the order. They are small, about 8 centimeters in diameter, stacked 4 high. Both sides are browned and crisp, while the center is fluffy yet moist, with a gentle sweetness. Some say there's not enough maple syrup, but if you savor the ingredients' own flavor, the amount is more than sufficient. Compared with older photos, prices seem to have risen, but that's unavoidable these days… The interior also has a handmade feel, and hearing the owners, a parent and child perhaps?, chatting was heartwarming. 2023/5/15 update It seems the hotcakes have changed from 4 layers to 2。。 That's disappointing, since that impressive appearance was what made them special. I understand rising ingredient costs, but I no longer find them appealing enough to make a visit.

I stopped by for a break while walking around the neighborhood. I had a set of hot blend coffee and souffle pancakes. They only mix the flour and other ingredients after you order, so the pancakes really are freshly made. They come out on a skillet, and the skillet is piping hot. The pancakes are fluffy, and the ice cream on top melts just right and mixes with the berry sauce. Delicious & lovely to look at, too. The quality makes you think this place could really take off in a different location. The coffee is a fairly strong drip coffee with little acidity and a rich flavor. It went deliciously with the sweetness of the pancakes. I happened to drop in during my walk. It's a tiny place with 2 tables (+1 terrace table? Though it faces a main road, so the terrace seems a bit impractical...), but it's worth stopping by. The meal options looked delicious, too. Next time I'm nearby, I'd like to come for a meal. Thank you for the lovely food.

A great little café hidden behind the bushes! I had the hot cakes, which were delicious and beautifully cooked, with an iced tea. There were several choices of tea, which is rare enough to mention. I'll go back as soon as possible to try the spaghetti, which looks really good and authentic. Again, they have lots of choices, and I'd like to try them all. I also got a white sesame pudding to take away (I'm incorrigible). I went early to make sure I'd get a seat, but there weren't as many people as I expected. It's not the easiest place to get to, but the owners are lovely and the food is very good. They deserve many more visitors!

The elderly lady at this place is adorable. I recommend the nearby parking lot, where you can park for 500 yen with a reservation. My university laboratory is right nearby, so it was easy to get to. There are only 3 seating areas, so if your timing is bad, you might not get to eat here. Most lunch options are fairly light, so it might not suit anyone wanting a hearty meal. I like it. I was a little concerned that the elderly lady seemed somewhat unsure of herself, saying things like, if it's not to your taste... Students at the University of Electro-Communications, do stop by at least once.
