【Solid volume, calm Thai rice】 After finishing errands around Tsutsujigaoka, I felt hungry, so I went to this Thai restaurant where I could eat refreshing food. Located quietly on the second floor of a multi-tenant building, it might be a little hard to find if it's your first visit. Ordered Pad Thai from the lunch menu. ◆ Pad Thai Set 1,000 yen Pad Thai, salad, soup, coffee Pad Thai has a somewhat restrained Thai aroma, but a stable taste that anyone can eat easily. Maybe because I didn't use condiments like nuts or chili on the table at first, it felt a bit monotonous, but if you add it halfway, the expression changes drastically, so I think changing the taste is a must. The volume is also solid and there is a sense of satisfaction. Coffee after the meal has a somewhat light taste, personally the impression was unsatisfactory. Payment is basically cash, and cashless seems to be only d-barai.
View on Google【Bua Daeng which means red lotus☆Second Thai specialty store opened in Tsutsujigaoka!】 Nishi-Tsutsujigaoka, Chofu City, Tokyo. A Thai restaurant opened in November 2023. The nearest is Tsutsujigaoka Station on the Keio Line. Located in the middle of the north exit shopping street. The second authentic Thai restaurant has been born in Tsutsujigaoka♪︎ イエ━━٩(*´ᗜ`)ㅅ(ˊᗜˋ*)و━━イ. I've been curious about this shop since it first opened. On a weekday noon, I peeked in. Since it's on the 2nd floor of a women's clothing store, it might be very inconspicuous. The landmark is the Thai flag φ(・ω・`) It seems to be family-run. Oral order, pay later. According to the shop brochure, the owner is from Udon Thani (Northeastern Thailand). The shop name "Bua Daeng" is Thai for "red lotus". It is said to be named after thinking of "Talay Bua Daeng" in Udon Thani, where red lotuses bloom all over the lake. If you google it, oh!? It's good. Maybe I'll go on my next Thailand visit(*´-`) ◆Today's order◆ Tom Yum Goong Set 1000 yen Lunch is standard Thai food such as Gapao rice, Khao Man Gai, green curry, Pad Thai, and Tom Yum Goong ramen. Includes salad, tapioca coconut milk, and soft drink. I chose orange juice(´ー`)ノ Noodles are Sen Yai, wide rice flour noodles. Tom Yum soup has just the right sourness and spiciness. Hmm, irresistible(*´-`) Shrimp is plump♪︎ Isn't it delicious♪︎ Of course, to make the taste a little stronger with Krua-Porn (condiments) on the table, I added plenty of "Nam Pla (fish sauce)" and "Prik Nam Som (vinegar with chili)" to add spiciness & sourness, to adjust to my favorite taste♪︎ ヾ(о-ω・)ノ⌒★ Oh yes, in the last few years, the number of Thai restaurants in Chofu City has increased significantly. If you include Indian-style Thai food (2 shops), it has become 14 shops (as of February 2024, visited all except 1 shop). Isn't it rare to have so many shops in one city. I will also support Bua Daeng which opened locally(*´∀`*)尸" #Koshusho #SupportLocal #ThaiCuisine #IsanCuisine #UdonThani #RedLotusLake #FamilyRun #LocalCuisine #Izakaya #VeryHighPossibilityOfRevisiting #NextTimeDinner
View on GoogleThe mother in the kitchen can speak Japanese reasonably well, but the young man in charge of serving, maybe her son, seems to hardly speak Japanese, so detailed things will be asked directly into the kitchen. At night, I don't think it's every day, but there is a 3-half-dish menu for 1500 yen, and it is said that you can choose any 3 dishes from all menus, so it might be a good deal for those who want to try various things.
View on GoogleI had Khao Man Gai, but it was delicious!!! The sauce has a taste that makes you addicted. A taste that makes me think I want to eat it again. The soup, coconut tapioca, and coffee were also delicious! I will come again!
View on GoogleI only ate Gapao rice for takeout, but it's very delicious. The price might be a bit high, but the balance of Thai-style seasoning is good and it feels elegant. Next time I want to eat Gai Yang, Khao Man Gai, Tom Yum Goong
