You can get an inexpensive grilled fish set meal. The appeal is being able to choose your rice portion and easily add inexpensive side dishes.

This place is the worst. I went a little outside the lunch rush, but there was no greeting when I entered or paid. Thinking they might not be open yet, I asked the female employee, “Is it okay?” but she just silently pointed to a seat. I ordered カツオたたき丼 and was served fish that was starting to go bad. I wasn't quite sure whether it was rotten, so I didn't complain, but I had a stomachache the next day. My visit was in May 2017. Until 2010, I came frequently enough to be considered a regular, but when I returned after a long absence, both the people and the place had gone rotten. I'm never going back.
