Great soba restaurant with great service. The lady that worked there made it such a wonderful experience with her attentive approach. Would go back again.

A relatively inexpensive soba restaurant around Jimbocho My first visit They have plenty of set meals, including katsudon, so I was looking forward to it That day I had the pork loin katsudon and seiro set As soon as it arrived, I noticed water running out of the seiro Quite rare for a soba restaurant. The katsudon was okay, but the soba seemed like soft noodles, and the texture… Everyone has their preferences, but it was not for me

I came for lunch on a weekday because the popular soba restaurant I had visited the day before was so crowded that I could not relax at all. I got in without waiting at 13. After reading the reviews, I chose the pork fillet katsudon set. It was well seasoned, the coating was easy to eat, and it was very delicious! The soba too, of course. When it arrived, I wondered whether I could finish it?? But although I was stuffed, I managed to finish it as a woman dining alone(light eaters might want to be careful) The pickles and umeboshi were also welcome on this scorching day. The thoughtful soba tea helped too. I would like to visit again.

I visited for lunch Ordered zosui udon It was served in about 5 minutes This is what they call ojiya udon in Osaka Udon and rice simmered piping hot in an iron pot until soft It warms you up and tastes delicious The ingredients are shiitake, kamaboko, chicken, egg, and thin green onions It also comes with separate green onion garnish and homemade pickles These pickles are delicious too It had been a long time since I had such satisfying zosui udon
