The place is pretty retro and almost feels “locals only”, but that’s not at all the case. Very friendly barista serving really great coffee, from a number of different roasters, prepared with absolute care. For those who want something non-coffee, or a little sweeter, the menu is pretty big, including food and cake. P.s. it looks like they don’t have a bathroom, but it’s just outside the door.

Delicious!! The simple butter toast was very filling, toasted to my exact liking, and comes with strawberry jam. The cafe au lait doesn’t have a strong taste of coffee but it was yummy and came with a biscoff biscuit for dipping. Very reasonably priced! Wifi and data signal were a bit hit and miss but not a big deal. The cafe is located on the 3rd floor, you have to go down the side street and there’ll be a vault coffee sign past some vending machines, then walk up to the 3rd floor. Took us a minute to find it but meant it was lovely and quiet when we got there, ideal in the rainy weather🫶

‼️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‼️ TASTY COFFEE & CAKE! Excellent pleasant service by Keita. Do also try the Baked Cheesecake! #delicious🤤 This is a nice place to temporarily get away from the city chaos. NOTE: From the main road, tthe cafe is exactly half way down the laneway on the LEFT - look for the 'VAULT COFFEE' sign. Location is on Level 3. 🛗3️⃣⏫️☕️🥮 -Scottie

Quaint, rustic shop! The iced almond cafe au lait was perfectly balanced. Highly recommend the cinnamon toast! It was the best dessert I’vehad in Japan so far. Perfectly toasted and sweet. I’ll crave this when I’m back in America.

An absolutely wonderful place hidden away in an alley of Akihabara. The cinnamon toast we ordered was one of the better deserts of its kind I’ve tasted in a long while.
