I ordered double meat, but honestly the portion was small. The soup has a lemongrass aroma, so people who dislike Thai or Vietnamese-style food might not enjoy it. At lunch, rice refills are unlimited, and it's delicious added to the soup. Considering the portion and quality, I thought it could be 150 yen cheaper.

I had a large gyukara-men (very spicy)+coriander. I tried increasing the soup's heat, but perhaps because of the acidity, I didn't feel much spiciness. The balance seemed reasonably good. The noodles are pho, yes。。 They're flat and go down smoothly, but somehow lack bite…… They might be just right for pho lovers, but weren't really for me。。 When I entered, the owner was running everything alone, and I had to wait quite a while even to have my order taken。。 The operation seems a little slow. Thank you for the meal.

Rice noodles used in Vietnamese pho or pho ga, with a light, refreshing beef-bone broth. Add spice to that and you have gyukara-men. It's different from Miyazaki karamen. The heat is mild, but the flavor is deep. Herbs add an aromatic accent. Rice is free and unlimited.

Very delicious! There are 5 spice levels, from no heat to extremely spicy. Unlimited rice is available to give your palate a break.

A place near Awajicho Station where you can enjoy Vietnamese pho. I bought a ticket from the vending machine for gyukara-men (750 yen), which also gives the shop its name. They ask which of the 5 spice levels you want and whether you'd like complimentary rice. I requested mildly spicy, and the acidity and aromatics beneath the heat made for a satisfying soup. Since the noodles are pho, it feels healthy. Adding a little Vietnamese sate recommended by the manager sharpened the heat and made it even tastier. Once the pho is finished, you can add the rice to the soup. That was good too. If you struggle with spice, you can mix in a raw egg (10 yen) to make it milder. I worked up a nice sweat (haha)
