You know you are in for a good meal when there are over 1k reviews with honest Japanese feedback of ~4.0/5 stars. At 10pm, the place was flooded with locals, you know the food is good. For me one of the best tsukemen in Tokyo, don’t miss this and come give it a try!
View on GoogleExceptional food, great service and attention to customers. Cozy and Japanese environment and style. Definitely a must in Akihabara. Not many seats, but if you can, try it.
View on GoogleI ordered a spicy miso Tsukemen, and the taste was fantastic ngl. However, if you’re a foreigner like me. Think twice before entering because the store does not seem to be too foreigner-friendly. I came to visit on a weekday night. Since there is a long line waiting to be seated, when it was my turn using the machine to order, I didn’t want to waste time translating one by one, so I quickly (and also politely) asked the staff excuse me, is there an English menu? (I know there is one since I read the reviews before deciding to come) The staff did not even want to help me at the very first moment by saying in Japanese “I don’t understand what you’re saying.” I think he may had figured it out in the second thought, so he quickly hand out menus in different languages and asked me which one do i need. I grabbed the english one and he just left. Didn’t even want to help any further. The taste of tsukemen is really good, but the feelings of ignorance by the staff affect my experience a lil bit. So again, if you’re a foreigners that may not be too expert in Japanese. Think twice before entering.
View on GoogleThe portion we chose is medium, I unfortunately could not finish mine so I would recommend small or regular portion if you are not very very hungry. The food was excellent, we had spicy tsukemen and eggs and meat. Great experience
View on GoogleAmazing little Japanese noodle shop. Very simple and straightforward menu that can be easily Google translated. My take is that more focused menus tend to mean that the food is better because the staff have very well focused cooking skills. If you have never experienced the claustrophobically cozy Japanese restaurant, this place is worth the hunt. Noodles are very hefty, so if you had a big lunch, maybe go with the small order and go nuts with the sides.
