View on GoogleSpecial tsukemen, regular portion. You can choose regular or large noodles for free. For the special, 2 slices of pork-belly chashu, 1 soft-boiled egg, and a big pile of menma are served on a separate plate. The dipping broth has the standard seafood-and-animal-stock double taste, with a smoothness leaning toward thinness and a flavor close to the familiar, but it has an outstanding sense of using all the fish's strengths and weaknesses, stimulating the five senses through sweetness and saltiness containing a slight bitterness and acidity from dried fish flakes. The ingredients are thin strips of pork-belly chashu and naruto, with menma poured in abundantly and a little finely chopped scallion. It overlaps heavily with the special toppings, but the chashu is already meltingly soft from the heat, its umami pouring out, and is extremely satisfying to eat. The medium-thin noodles have outstanding smooth, springy firmness. The careful rinsing with water to firm them up gives them a gleaming shine that feels perfected in direct proportion to the artisan's skill. Even paired with various types of dipping broth, these seem to be a noodle species in this ramen-desert habitat with which, if I'm with you, I can walk without looking down. It's autumn now, but I strongly feel they would demonstrate extraordinary deliciousness in cold-menu dishes. If one can consider the depth of a flavor that isn't only sweetness derived from an emphasis on fish freshness, then this complexity, familiar yet uniquely and skillfully crafted, can be recognized as an individual bowl. If the “special” acquired a unique skill, I think its flavor would surely stand shoulder to shoulder with today's leading powers.
View on GoogleThis is what I wanted to eat”—a level of perfection that gives you shivers. Visited on a weekday in March 2026 at 19:25 and entered without waiting. Ordered tsukemen for 1100円. A welcome arrangement: a large portion (300g) is free. The price is reasonable for this quality, and, amazingly, adding 150円 for an extra-large 500g portion gets you free dipping-broth refills—a generous offer. In fact, I went back soon afterward for the extra-large portion, and it really was too much for me. The tsukemen here is the pinnacle of the classic style. Its outstanding level of perfection goes beyond ordinary pork-bone-and-seafood broth, rivaling the renowned 麺屋吉左右. First, the noodles. These are thick noodles from 大成食品, and they're exceptionally delicious. The balance of suppleness and firmness is superb, and you can clearly taste the wheat's sweetness. The dipping broth is rich yet has a clean finish, setting it apart from pork-bone-and-seafood broths that are simply heavy. The seafood umami comes forward, while the richness of the animal stock provides solid support, creating depth. It clings to the noodles beautifully, and the unity of aroma and flavor the instant you lift them is simply delightful. With each bite, I sigh, “This is what I wanted to eat.” There's a substantial 300g portion, but rather than losing momentum toward the end, the satisfaction actually grows in the second half. Honestly, it's rare to encounter this level of perfection in this genre. A moving bowl.
View on Google2026.5.27 Today I ordered 「special tsukemen」 for 1400円. I had a regular portion this time, but a large portion is also available for the same price. The soup and noodles were both delicious. Thank you for the meal.
