Best ramen we had in Tokyo. Cash only vending machine ordering outside. Only about 8 seats, but the food and service was amazing. Tasted great, even our kids 5&2 ate all their food!
View on GoogleIt has been a few years, since my last visit, but I realised I have never shared my thoughts on this lovely, tiny ramen/tsukemen restaurant. I have had many types of ramen since then, but to me, this is still my favorite. I love the thicker noodles, the strong tasting soup, the menmam giving that slightly funky taste. It's all perfect. Taste aside, to me, this is the quintessential experience of eating ramen at a local ramen shop in Tokyo. Standing in line after work, along with the other salary man, enjoying the free tea, squeezing into the tiny counter, receiving a pipping bowl full of dreams and rushing to slurp it all down, because there are 5 other people waiting in line behind you. Yeah, there might be other ramen places with better reviews, with better service, location, michelin stars even, but this is what I think of when I think of ramen.
View on GoogleI’ve been to this place many times— The noodles? Very good, very satisfying. And listen, always squeeze the lime they give you—it makes it tremendous, believe me. Now, the hygiene… sometimes the tables feel sticky, not exactly what you want. Maybe they think it’s “extra flavor.” Not good! I like it.
View on GoogleGood ramen The noodles were semi thick with a bite just the perfect noodles for ramen 10/10 Soup was smooth and rich but not too rich that it's overwhelming. Its also just right Toppings: The marinated egg was perfectly cooked with silky yolk still intact. The taste was OK but for my personal preference i would have loved it if it was seasoned more Menma was okay and it compliments the richness of the soup Then the nori was also a good touch Charsui pork was good as well but I wished it had more The down side is, it has very limited seating and if its lunch break specially in week days there is a long line even if you come as early as 11:30 I recommend comming here at night to avoid long lines (If there is a line infront of a ramen shop it usually means its good ramen) Over all it was okay
View on GoogleWhat a find on day one of our Japanese adventure!! Luckily no queue at first so after navigating the vending machine outside we were helped by a friendly employee who explained the menu to us, we had a joint pork and chicken ramen, it printed off to tickets which the employee took you the counter and sat us down , in a very short time we had two big bowls of absolutely delicious ramen in front of us!! Would highly recommend, huge queue when we left.
