Tried this ramen shop before hopping on the shinkansen. Thought that the line was short and didn't notice the dozen or so people waiting on the other side of the alley. This place serves some fantastic niboshi (fish) ramen, with a rich broth and thick noodle combination. The special comes with tender braised pork and an amazing flavored egg. Overall, one of the best niboshi ramen I've had! Just make sure you have plenty of time to spare because you may have to wait a while before you get to enjoy this fantastic bowl. Crowd Size: Very High (30min wait) Payment Method: SUICA

Haven't been to ramen street in a while and noticed there is some newer shops to try. This is the second niboshi ramen on the street. Tried the special strong niboshi ramen 1480円。The portion was massive for me. I like the noodles, chewy and addictive. The broth was very fishy of course and salty but that is the nature of the strong broth. Chashu was good, egg was good. Overall a solid bowl for me. Tried 9/10 of ramen street now and compared to the others is a solid option.

I’m stuck between 3–4 stars because I like it, but I also don’t. This place specializes in sardine broth ramen and is located on Ramen Street inside the mall. We ordered #1 and #5. #1 has a rich, heavy broth, while #5 is lighter but still has a strong sardine flavor. #5 also comes with a lot of meat, which was good. My boyfriend loved it. I would eat here again, but I don’t know if I could ever finish a whole bowl because the flavor is very heavy. It’s definitely an acquired taste. To order, you use the machine first, then line up on the other side of the hallway. We went around 11:30 a.m. on a Wednesday and waited about 20–25 minutes.

This ramen uses a broth made from the famous dried sardines of Aomori Prefecture. The rich, robust flavor of the dried sardines—with its subtle bitterness—creates a deep, complex taste that’s truly unique. While this distinctive ramen may not be for everyone, its flavor and balance are one-of-a-kind. Don’t miss out on this ramen, which is rarely found even in Japan.

The lady working there was very nice and helped me place the order in their ticket machine. chose the spicy chicken Ramen. it wasn’t bad but there was nothing special. Kind of sad the greens on top were frozen (although they unfroze really quickly in the hot broth)
