ポータルカフェTricolor Cafe Akihabara Station
[OPEN Wednesday, July 2, 2025] A relaxing space you'll want to visit every day. The 'coffee shop' in my town. A coffee shop with the nostalgic atmosphere of the good old mid-Showa era, it has always been a place of rest for people and a comfort to the heart. While wrapped in a somewhat nostalgic and warm atmosphere, we will create a rich 'time' brought by coffee.

We ordered a kettle of black tea and a cheesecake. The tea tasted pretty good and the cheesecake was creamy. I’d have given it a four star if only they offered hot water refills for the black tea. I was extremely shocked when they refused my request for hot water - why on earth did they not allow the tea leaves to steep for more than ONCE?! They’re afraid customers would stay for too long? Or their tea leaves are only good for being steeped once? I’m utterly confused and not pleased with this experience.
View on GoogleLunch is better here. Selective Pastas with seasonal menu with great taste. Drinks is quantity full 😃 I also had breakfast but not as par the price. Too pricy compared to the taste. I recommend lunch . Good environment and good service too. Will try dinner buffets sooner 😃🌸.
View on GoogleNice matcha chiffon cake here. I like the bitterness of their black coffee. Outdoors is good if you dun like the coldness in a rainy day, but outdoor noise like noisy tourist family with children can dampen the mood. Price wise is higher as any sort of city area cafe in my own country.
View on GoogleHappy Hour some drinks for 390 yen, but mostly without happy hour it’s expensive. Matcha Latte is only Matcha Latte sugar Powder without real milk. It’s ok but not very good. Desserts looking very delicious.
View on GoogleWe came at around 8pm so they only had drinks and desserts, but that was perfect because that was what we wanted. The waiter didn’t speak English but he used the translator and was very kind. Our drinks were good and the cake delicious. It wasn’t too sweet which was great. The mood is very calm here, we really enjoyed it.
