Trattoria MUTSUMI
The theme is 「a trattoria for grown-ups」, with the concept 「a fusion of Northern Italy and Hokkaido」. A restaurant where 「Mutsumi Nakata」, featured on 「Jonetsu Tairiku」, is at the stove. Always over 15 varieties of wine by the glass! A place you can enjoy even if you come every day.

If you want to taste something beyond Japanese food near Tokyo Hanzomon station area, this is a good place
View on GoogleNot great but not that bad. There are better places but this location lacks good Italian restaurants therefore maybe highly ranked.
View on GoogleLunch from 1800 yen〜 I ended up having lunch in Hanzomon, so I searched Google Maps and tried this highly rated restaurant, and it was absolutely the right call! The appetizer plate was delicious and generous, and the pasta was very tasty too. Lunch reservations are for courses only, so if you're coming for the lunch menu, it's best to arrive just before opening. Note that for groups, even if you come early, you can't go in until everyone has arrived. The paintings on display inside depict the restaurant, and the interior was lovely too.
View on GoogleCame here for lunch with a friend. First visit. Being a popular place, it was nearly full right after opening, with a lively atmosphere. The paintings and objects on the walls were all cute and tasteful. The food was very well balanced in both looks and taste, with a good hit of salt and garlic, and despite the generous portion I polished it off in no time. It was served quickly too. It was crowded, so maybe not the atmosphere for a relaxed chat. I'd like to go again if I get the chance.
View on GoogleThe menu description is misleading. A "crazy-expensive pasta" I found while walking around Kojimachi. 2000 yen just for pasta, that's bold, I thought, and went in. What I ordered: 【MUTSUMI special tomato cream sauce spaghetti topped with prosciutto, with almonds 2400 yen】 The price is pretty steep, yet the spacious restaurant was full! Depending on the time, you might have to wait! No wonder — what comes out isn't just pasta, but a salad like a breakfast set, on a plate big enough to hold a large serving of pasta. First off, this is delicious. A salad anyone would love, with seaweed and beans mixed in a nice balance. I mean, the menu description is misleading!!! Tell us there's salad too! This is amazing! After finishing that, out comes the long-awaited special pasta. This alone might justify the 2000 yen. Prosciutto pasta plated so artistically it makes you think so. The taste doesn't betray you either — insanely good. Was tomato cream sauce always like this?? Huh??? It makes you wonder, because the mildness of the cream gently envelops your tongue more than the tomato does. If you come alone, you can have some CHILL time at the counter. Do give it a try at least once.
