Loved for 45 years, La Verde's “carbonara,” with its perfect pairing of rich cream and thick bacon, is a huge customer favorite♪ Weekday lunches feature a full selection of carefully crafted pasta and pizza, with salad and a drink included with every item for great value◎ Dinner offers plenty of à la carte dishes to enjoy with wine! Party plans with all-you-can-drink start at 5,500円~, and banquets, private bookings, and business entertaining are all warmly welcomed. The chef's creative Italian dishes using seasonal ingredients are also very popular!

This is the last of many La Verde Italian restaurants in tokyo. 10 or so years ago, there were about 9 La Verde Italian restaurants. I don't know why this is the only one left. The food is very good, with sizable portions and a good wine list. The staff is always on their toes for you, and they work like a well-oiled machine. Their Gnocci dish is their greatest and boy is it rich, but pretty much everything on their menu is great. There is parking under Hibiya park nearby. Call ahead to make sure they have space for you. It seems to be used often for corporate parties. They seem to only be open on weekdays.

One of the oldest spaghetti place in Uchisaiwaicho. Rather good price for value. Excellent service.

Visited for a business lunch. Apparently the recommendation is bacon carbonara, but looking at the menu illustration, the bacon was huge! That seemed a bit much, so I chose the weekly special, “bamboo shoots in cream sauce.” Delicious😋 I chose the regular size (normal? standard?), and it was massive! I got a little tired of it toward the end. I thought a smaller portion of pasta with a little baguette would be nice. Personally, I'd have preferred it a little firmer. Just a matter of taste. Lunch includes salad and coffee. A fairly substantial price. Just after 12, the restaurant was almost full and a little noisy, and I noticed some ill-mannered customers cutting ahead even though I was waiting in line (probably just a coincidence). A few women came in on their own too, so it seems fine for solo diners. A good restaurant when you want to eat your fill. Next time I'll ask for a smaller size. 2026.05.20 #UchisaiwaichoLunch
