Established in 2008. Maid coffee shop, maid cafe. This is “Togenkyo (とうげんきょう),” a classical maid cafe in Akihabara. In a relaxing space reminiscent of a retro coffee shop, staff in maid costumes serve homemade sweets, meals, and tea. First-time maid cafe visitors and tourists visiting Akihabara can all enjoy the cafe comfortably. Power outlets at every seat, Wi-Fi throughout, and iPhone/Android chargers available to borrow.

Very cute and cozy maido cafe. The halloween menu was very tasty! Maidos were cute and very nice (Chiyo san and Mochiko san) and understanding to a silly guy like me (I'm very sorry for the glass 😓🙇). Very good prices for a maido cafe. I can recommend this place with all my heart ^^

The maids made a real effort to chat with me even though they don’t speak English, and i enjoyed practicing my very limited Japanese. The food was prepared with care, and I like how the tea came in a set of pretty pot and cups. The cafe has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

The maids are very helpful and friendly even though they humbly admitted the couldn’t speak much English. Food and drinks are reasonably price. I would recommend it for the experience.

Went to this cafe during my first trip to japan on curry friday. Had great time, ate a ton of curry, talked with maids even though they dont speak english and I dont speak japanese at all. Special thanks to Mui chan who can speak some english for talking with me and taking a really nice photo, I think this was my favorite thing that I brought back to my country from Japan
