刀削麺荘 唐家Toshomen Karaya
We are Japan's first restaurant specializing in 刀削麺. We serve 刀削麺 that are sure to get you hooked! Our original noodle recipe offers a distinctive firmness and pleasantly chewy texture. More than 10 spices and a distinctive way of using oil known as 「香辣(シャンラー)」, which offers more than just heat, are unique to China's Xi'an region. These create our signature sauce, which stands up to the bold character of 刀削麺 in perfect balance. You can also adjust the flavor to your liking with toppings for a numbing sensation, extreme heat, or extra coriander. For those who dislike spicy food, we also offer completely non-spicy dishes.

Best noodles I’ve had in Tokyo! The ordering process might be confusing at first, but using Google translate we managed to order via the machine outside. The portions were big, the noodles and soup were delicious, and the meat was very tender. Highly recommended this place
View on GoogleThe noodles here were incredible! We got the mala spicy sword noodles and the toro meat with sword noodles. Both meals were huge in portion and the hot soup was amazing on a cold and rainy day. Highly recommend! As a foreigner, the ticket system was a bit confusing but if you scan it with google translate you should be fine! You insert money first, then choose your selection and your ticket will come out - give this ticket to the staff inside and you’re good to go! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!
View on GoogleHumble ramen shop, it was a fantastic surprise. Nothing in English but totally worth trying. The sword cuts noodle texture is really great, the bean sprouts are the freshest you can get and spice level is just right! Totally recommend it!
View on GoogleLess spicy than expected, if you like spicy one, you may feel it watery a bit. Vinegar on the table may make it better Of course, staff are kind, so you can enter easily!
View on GoogleWe stumbled upon this noodle shop when we were in Akihabara. Sometimes, the most memorable meals are those are not planned. I had all these place in the area that I had pinned, but we just happened to walk past as we were exploring the alleys. We had the spicy dan dan noodles, and it was spicy-y-y-y. The broth was rich, and flavorful, and the noodles were excellent. You order from the machine outside, and you hand the ticket to the staff inside. A very small, laid back, and delicious noodle shop tucked away in Akihabara.
