The food and service here are great! We waited in line for lunch and watched a wait staff at the front provided menu, available in English, to customers and took food orders before entering the restaurant. She was friendly and very efficient. The line moved at a brisk pace. With mostly counter seats and a few tables, the place was bright, airy and clean. Food came out fast while we watched the cooks fried up katsu and shrimps behind the plexiglass divider. We had the katsu and katsu don that came with soup. Also got a potato salad side. Everything tasted great. Katsu was juicy, not dry. Katus don with egg was very flavorful. So jealous that this quality of food can be had for such a reasonable price. Will definitely return the next time we're in Tokyo.
View on GoogleI was here during lunch time but queue run quite fast I was waiting for 15-20 minutes. The food was delicious, the atmosphere and service are good. They have small space for your luggage and hanger for your coat. I have pork loin cutlet set. An english menu is available. Also they give you warm towel :) The place is in Tokyo Station it’s a little hard to find and the floor bit oily. Overall this restaurant provided a memorable cultural experience and watching chef cooking is bonus.
View on Googleロースかつ定食Pork Loin Cutlet Set 1,650¥ 📍Tonkatsu Suzuki とんかつ 寿々木, Marunouchi, Tokyo Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside 🤤 The pork loin cutlet is perfectly fried to a golden brown with a light, crunchy coating, while the meat stays tender and flavorful. Served with rice, pickled vegetables, and a comforting Asian clam red miso soup that balances the richness so well 🍚🥢 This spot focuses on quality and craft—using high-quality domestic pork and carefully selected cuts, coated in fresh homemade breadcrumbs and fried in pure vegetable oil. You can even watch the chefs prepare each tonkatsu right in front of you across the wooden counter 👨🍳🔥 everything feels precise and full of care Great option if you’re around Tokyo Station, though be ready to wait—I spent about 30 minutes during weekday dinner ⏳ but definitely worth it for a solid tonkatsu experience 👉 Full video and more food discovery in Japan: @fastingidie on TikTok & Instagram! 🎥🍣
View on GoogleSmall little eatery tucked inside Tokyo Station. When we arrived, there was a short queue, but the turnover was very fast. The shop itself can probably accommodate around 40 diners. Ordering is done through a vending machine, which makes the process quick and efficient. The pork katsu was very tender and absolutely delicious. Hubby thinks it’s missing the usual ground sesame, but it was still very good overall.
View on GoogleMy favourite tonkatsu restaurant in Tokyo. I come here every year… the food is fantastic. Also their miso soup which comes with each meal is 10/10. Genuinely best miso soup I’ve ever had. Get the LOIN not the FILLET. Loin has more fat so much more juicy and flavourful. 10/10
