Avoid if you don’t speak Japanese - Deceptive photos and hidden costs The ramen itself was a decent, filling bowl with a good soup base, but the experience was ruined by misleading signage and poor service. 1. The "Visual Trap": I ordered the 1,310 yen option because it was placed directly under a large photo of ramen with eggs. Naturally, I assumed the egg was included. We only found out there was no egg after the food was served. When I tried to clarify this with the staff, they were quite rude and simply said "No egg!" at me without further explanation. 2. Not a Standalone Issue: This isn't just a personal misunderstanding. While I was at the table, I heard another foreigner struggling with the exact same query. The layout is clearly designed in a way that misleads those who cannot read the specific kanji on the smaller buttons. 3. Misleading Pricing: To make matters worse, the price on the button is not the final price. Despite standard practice in Japan, this machine added extra tax at the payment stage. The 1,310 yen price is excluding tax, which is incredibly misleading for a vending machine interface. Summary: The food is "fine," but between the hidden tax, the deceptive photo placement, and the dismissive attitude of the staff, I wouldn't recommend this place. There are plenty of great ramen shops next door that treat tourists with more transparency and respect.

Located at First Avenue Tokyo Station. We decided to choose this one because the line was the shortest. Suitable for smaller group sizes. We were a group of 4. At the beginning we had to sit separately, but once a table left, we were able to sit together. Quick service and friendly staff. You order from the machine and wait to be seated. We ordered the original. Even though the portion size was very generous, the broth was salty and rich. The eggs were nice. The meat was quite dry.

I was a little worried about saltiness looking at other reviews but that was not my experience! it was a solid bowl of ramen. Definitely recommend. There was a line when we arrived but it moved soooo fast!!

We wanted to give this place a try and it turned out to be great! Needed to line up for a bit but wasn’t so bad. The broth was unique and flavourful, and both us and kids enjoyed them so much! We ordered one Original and one Spicy. The Original was awesome but the Spicy one was even better and I highly recommend it if you love spicy food. The only down side (for me) was that as a non-Japanese, I only ordered based on the simple description and the pictures, so the ramen we ordered didn’t come with the ramen egg as pictured. I guess it was my misunderstanding. Eggs need to be ordered on a side.

Delicious ramen and our favorite place so far over the past 2 weeks. Ive been to japan 3 times and I personally prefer rich and flavorful foods. This place is very rich, consistent, and flavorful broth. Highly recommend this restaurant and its easy to access. Nice employees too.
