A lounge café in the lobby of the Palace Hotel. I was initially overwhelmed by the gorgeously decorated interior, but gradually relaxed after being warmly welcomed and seated by the helpful staff. I had their signature cake,Maron Chantilly, along with Morgentau tea, and both were absolutely delicious. Considering the elegant atmosphere of a luxury hotel, the quality of the cake and tea, and the excellent service, I was pleasantly surprised that the cake set was only ¥3,000. It felt like a very reasonable price for such a high-end experience. I’m already looking forward to trying their seasonal cakes next time!

The highlight was definitely the high tea, a wonderful selection with elegant presentation. That said, the service didn’t quite meet the high standards I’ve come to expect from hotels and restaurants in Japan.

Elegant, quiet with a good view. There are a good selection of Japanese whiskeys among other drinks. A cowsy outside section in the back. Undoubtedly a great place for sunset drinks in summer

Very lovely and accommodating staff. Beautiful hotel and lovely outdoor seating area. Peach Spritz was lovely and refreshing.
