Small shop. Not touristy at all. Mostly locals enjoying a very sociable evening out. Very friendly proprietress. We managed to order despite our extremely limited Japanese. Sushi was top absolutely notch. Prices very reasonable. Exactly what I was looking for.
View on GoogleWe often visit here for lunch because this Sushi restaurant is close to our office. The quality is good and the price is just 1.000 jpy for Nigiri or Chirashi. the bad part is that it takes long to be served because the restaurant is run by the owner and his wife.
View on GoogleLunch nigiri, 1,400円. This is an old-fashioned sushi restaurant that seems to be run by an elderly couple. There are a lot of seats, and I thought it must be tough for just the 2 of them to manage everything. It was almost full at lunchtime too. These days, more and more upscale sushi restaurants are opening while old-fashioned sushi places keep disappearing, so just knowing they are still keeping this place going makes me happy. The sushi, of course, had an exquisite, easy-to-eat balance, neither too little nor too much, just right. The miso soup had shijimi clams and mitsuba, and it gave me a moment to remember how my mother used to make miso soup like this. Thank you. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI visited with a friend, just the 2 of us. We had assorted sashimi, tempura, simmered kinme, and sushi to finish. We were completely satisfied with the taste of everything. It's a place that makes me want to bring all sorts of people along.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch. Ordered nigiri for 1200円. I think every piece of nigiri was prepared with care. The sushi rice seemed a little too sticky, but not so much that it felt overly heavy. This price in a prime Tokyo location is amazing. I'd like to come back if I get the chance.
