Thick noodles in a rich pork broth, with sides of rice or cheese-topped baguette, in a tiny shop.

I was staying at the Dome Hotel, I came across this hidden ramen spot that’s open late. If you don’t speak Japanese, ordering can be a bit challenging. Orders are placed through a vending machine-style ticket system (very old school) and you hand the ticket to the chef. The menu is fairly simple and cheap with limited ramen options. It also seems very popular based on the pictures on the wall. I ordered the “everything” ramen with spicy sauce. The broth had a decent kick and was pleasantly spicy. However, the soup was very oily… The chashu was the biggest letdown. It was quite bland and tougher than expected, lacking the tenderness. The restaurant itself is very unassuming and a bit worn down. It didn’t feel particularly clean, and I noticed the chef handling cash and making change before preparing food with his hands which wasn’t hygienic. Unless I was really hungry and nearby, I probably wouldn’t bother.

Absolutely delicious ramen with thick broth. I got the recommendation for 1100¥ which I think is very reasonable. The staff were super helpful and the pictures around the shop walls were a fun addition. We went around 2pm and it was relatively full with a little space.

If you love oily ramen, this is the place to be! Broth is flavorful and thick. Love it! Rice and side dish are free. They also have a ladies portion which is appropriate serving for me.

This was the best tonkotsu ramen we ate on our trip to Tokyo. Pickles and a bowl of rice are added as “service” (included with meal). Must purchase ticket first but the staff help. And I loved that they had a women/children sized bowl. Still all the toppings (including an egg with a cartoon character on it) but just the right size for me. Full sized options also available!

It’s a IE-kei style (pronounced E-A-K) ramen. It’s a Yokohama origin Pork soup noodle that is extremely oily and savory. It comes with thick noodles. The taste is really unhealthy but addictive. Especially this store serves the extra thick soup that you will like it if you are a fun of a pork ramen.
