Magical, traditional little place in a historic building. They have an english menu and the traditional desserts were amazing. I arrived on a tuesday around 4.30pm, there was seating available.
View on GoogleLovely experience tasting authentic Japanese desserts. We came during an off peak hour and there was still a queue. The desserts paired beautifully with the tea and accompaniments. Will revisit if I have the opportunity!
View on GoogleOrdered the agemanju and kuzumochi on a hot day. Both were fantastic. Not too sweet with good texture. We came on a weekday afternoon, so there was no line. Staff were friendly and had an English menu as well. Would recommend for trying Japanese desserts.
View on GoogleWe recently visited this restaurant in Japan that specializes in traditional desserts and ice cream, and it was a wonderful experience. Here are a few things that stood out to me: Authentic and delicious desserts: The desserts at this restaurant were truly a highlight of the meal. From mochi to dango to red bean paste, each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The ice cream in particular was some of the best I've ever had - so creamy and rich! Warm and welcoming atmosphere: The restaurant itself is housed in a beautiful 1930s building that has been lovingly restored and decorated. The warm lighting and cozy seating arrangements made me feel right at home, and it was clear that the owners take pride in creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for their guests. Friendly and attentive staff: The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They were happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions we had about the menu. Overall, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a taste of authentic Japanese desserts and ice cream, as well as a warm and welcoming dining experience in a beautifully decorated setting.
