The kind of izakaya that's becoming rare these days. The older lady is pleasant, and there's enough variety in both food and drinks to keep things interesting. But the fact that they don't try to offer absolutely everything is actually a good thing.

I've visited this place many times. I don't smoke, but smoking is allowed here, so it's very handy when drinking with friends☺️ The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious😋 Besides cash, they also accept credit cards, and I appreciate their flexibility🙏 The owner is gentle and accommodating, and his wife's service is wonderful too👍 It's a wonderful place that makes me want to return✨

Development around 秋葉原 station is extensive, but walk a little toward Chiba beneath the elevated Sobu Line and you'll find streets that still retain a Showa-era atmosphere. That's where 「すずの木」, run by a married couple, is located☺️ The retro atmosphere, wide variety of delicious food, and drinks are thoroughly satisfying😋 The clientele includes locals and nearby office workers, giving it a relaxed feel, but it might also be good for younger people's gatherings🍻 There's a counter too, so you can enjoy drinking alone🍺

The atmosphere is fantastic😄 It's an izakaya run by an elderly couple (I think?). The lady is brisk and energetic! The man seems a little unsteady carrying the food, so customers sort of help themselves😁 But the place has character. I like it🤩 The food is delicious. There's no particular standout dish, but it's all properly made. The ジャンボベーコンエッグ has ５ fried eggs. They're firmly cooked😆 Put positively, they're easier to eat than runny eggs! Put negatively, they're overcooked! Oh, the highballs are strong, so be careful🤗

The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and wonderful!
