A curry shop located on a back street of Sakura Terrace in Iidabashi. It seems to be a curry shop during the day and a members-only Japanese restaurant at night. The interior is calm with only counter seating, and it was run by a single staff member. The menu focuses on chicken curry and keema curry, with options for a mix (aigake) and several toppings. [Chicken & Keema Curry (no cilantro)] 1,200 yen I ordered this, and since it was empty, it arrived in about 5 minutes. Turmeric rice is served on a shallow plate, with keema curry on one half and chicken curry on the other, topped with a boiled egg. The menu mentioned that spicy oil and fried onions could be added for free, but the staff seemed busy, so I didn't ask and unfortunately couldn't order them. The keema curry had pork cooked down until tender, with a nice spice level and a sweetness that would likely appeal to everyone. The chicken curry had large, tender, and juicy thigh meat, which went well with the spice-infused curry—it was delicious. The volume of rice and curry is excellent, but the taste felt like a standard spice curry. I'd like to try other menu items if they come up.
View on GoogleI highly recommend trying the two types of spice curry; it was a curry where you could really feel the dedication. Everything from ordering to payment and serving was smooth and fast, making for a stress-free meal. The chicken is very tender and delicious. Next time, I want to order a large serving of rice and extra meat. I'd like to go at least once a week.
View on GoogleA very stylish interior, stylish curry, and the taste is also nice. The curry sauce looks like it's being absorbed by the rice, but since the plate is thin, I suppose it can't be helped. I didn't like the pink pickles.
View on GoogleThe sauce is super rich. Yet the turmeric in the rice is effective and adds an extra punch. Also, there is so much sauce that every school cafeteria in the world should take note; with this amount of sauce, you could normally eat two bowls of white rice. There is also a free cilantro service for cilantro lovers. Plus, there is a spicy oil called 'Aooni' that has cilantro kneaded into it, and this is all-you-can-add. It increases the spiciness a bit, but at the same time, the cilantro flavor increases, and I couldn't stop my spoon. There are dedicated curry shops in Osaka where I live, but the prices are a bit high. But here, you can enjoy both chicken and keema for 1,200 yen. This is highly worth a revisit.
View on GoogleOverall, the spiciness is mild. A taste that can be eaten even by those who don't like spicy food. ◆Food Ordered Chicken & Keema Curry (mix). (Rice regular, spiciness regular, only added cilantro) ・Chicken Curry Strong cardamom aroma. Spices are effective, but it's a spice curry with mild spiciness. The chicken is tender enough to be cut with a spoon. ・Keema Curry Smooth and light texture. Creamy mouthfeel. If I had to compare it, it's like the nostalgic minced meat rice from school lunches. Personally, I prefer the keema. ・Rice Portion Slightly less than regular. There's a little bit of sauce left, so for those who want to eat well, a large portion is recommended. Conversely, if you want to enjoy the sauce, a small portion is fine. ・Aooni (Blue Demon) Sauce Probably green chili paste. It's not that spicy, but it has acidity and adds variety to the flavor. According to the staff, it's recommended to add it to the keema. ・Akaoni (Red Demon) Sauce Numbing spiciness. It feels spicier than the Aooni. ◆How to Eat In It's a bit confusing, so let me explain ・Order first at the register along the road *Cash is not accepted ・Enter from the side entrance of the building by "opening the door" *You might be confused for a moment because you can't see inside ・Revisited 2025/05 There was a sign at the entrance for dining in, making it easier to understand. You can also order inside. You are given a simple menu and can order verbally or via smartphone. The interior is still quiet, so it's perfect for enjoying curry alone. *Service changed from 4 to 5 stars ・Revisited 2025/09 Chicken Over Rice curry is no longer served. For payment, only QR or cash. Credit cards and Rakuten Pay are not supported. ◆Portion, Spiciness, Topping ・Rice portion (Large, Regular, Small) Large has an extra charge, small is 50 yen off ・Spiciness can be added with Akaoni or Aooni paste Free for dine-in ・There are many toppings Only cilantro is free! ◆Service and Atmosphere Immediately after opening, it takes about 15 minutes to serve, so around 11:30 is better. Modern space with black as the base color. Quiet and has a good atmosphere. Perhaps because there is take-out, it's empty around 11 am. I don't drink, but there seem to be many brands of sake lined up on the shelves. (They aren't open at night, so when is it served?) ◆Notes There are no paper napkins, so please bring your own tissues.
