Station Restaurant The Central
A dining space that has become a symbol of Tokyo Station, recreating an elegant “dining car” inside the restaurant. Enjoy carefully crafted Western-style dishes that are both nostalgic and new, such as the “Traditional Hayashi Rice (Demi-glace Sauce)”, which carries on more than 80 years of history since the dining car era, and the “Central Plate”, 〝just like a kids’ lunch plate for grown-ups〝, where you can enjoy Western-style classics hamburg steak, omurice, and fried shrimp all at once. 【Station】Tokyo Station【Location】B1F, GRANSTA, inside the Underground North Exit ticket gates, GRANSTA TOKYO Square Zero Area

The food served here is of high quality, tasted amazing, and the serving time also very fast. The staff were very polite. The portion itself quite big for that price. Definitely should try whenever you’re here.
View on GoogleOne of the best meals of my whole trip! Rich flavors, soft noodles, and a medley of delicious toppings. The iced green tea was just what I needed as well. For being tucked into a train station (even Tokyo Station), this exceeded my expectations.
View on GoogleThe beef was fantastically tender and soft. The sausage plate was alright but smaller than expected. Not sure if that was worth. The omu rice was rather disappointing. The rice was dry and the egg was overcooked. The sauce was bland and didn’t help much. The bread was really good. Simply nice. The crab cream croquette was not that great. Taste of crab was there… In general, not very impressive other than the two pieces of beef and the bread. In addition, the service style felt like a fast food place instead of what the price suggested. Not bad but just average, or even a bit below for Japanese standards. Each person costs around ¥2000+ It’s alright but I personally would not come back considering the options there are in the area.
View on GoogleA quiet, sit down restaurant in B1 of Tokyo station just down stairs of the southern transfer point for the Shinkensen. The stew in demiglase was very tender and tasty. Great service and the staff understands English. Ok... Good food, a quiet place but not cheap.
View on GoogleThis place is surprisingly amazing, it’s one of the few western restaurants you can find in the station (the rest are either Japanese or just bento stores) along with some beautifully cooked steak (I got the Hamburg) the rice also tasted nice. Inside the restaurant it feels like you’re riding on a steam train in the early 1900s. Super convenient
