シリ バラジSri Balaji Suidobashi
Indian cuisine has become very familiar in Japan. In recent years, South Indian cuisine in particular has begun attracting attention. Compared with the North Indian cuisine popular in Japan, it uses less oil and distinctive spices such as curry leaves. At our restaurant, we use fresh, high-quality ingredients to serve authentic South Indian cuisine. We make our curries with fresh spices and ingredients so our customers can enjoy healthy, delicious, authentic South Indian food. Our customers' health and satisfaction are what I value most. Everything we do is for our customers' health and satisfaction, with a focus on quality in both our food and service.

Some restaurants win you over with food. Sri Balaji restaurants in Tokyo? They win you over because of the person behind them. Yes, the food is consistently delicious, from flavourful curries to perfectly cooked seafood. But what truly makes Sri Balaji special is the owner, Kurinji San. From the moment you step in, his warmth, generosity, and good humor make you feel less like a customer and more like a guest he’s genuinely happy to host. If you’re lucky enough to visit while Kurinji-san is around, chances are you’ll be treated to a complimentary dish of the day, served with pride and a smile, as if feeding people well is simply part of who he is. It’s not planned, it’s not advertised… it just happens…❤️🍛
View on GoogleWe visited this place recently for brunch as the menu on Google showed a lot of vegetarian options, however may be due to the lunch time most of those options weren't available as mostly lunch sets were available. However, the owner was extremely gracious and courteous and whatever we ordered, everything was served piping hot! We ordered masala dosa set, idli set and a non vegetarian meal. People who prefer Chennai sambar might be disappointed as the sides like sambar and chutney were more suited to Karnataka side palates with sides like sambar being on a sweeter note and rasam not being spicy/peppery enough. The masala dosa however was very crispy and tasty. Idlis were also very fluffy. The non-veg meal had a nice portion size and tasted nice as well.
View on GoogleStumbled upon this place and what a find. I was hungry and had a masala dosa with Mango Lassi. The curry-Sambhar was tasteful. As it was the end of lunch it was mostly quite and empty, so I could have a chat with the Divakaran who has been running it for a few years. They managed to give me a filter coffee as I wanted to order it after my meal (but couldn't find it in the lunch set-menu). Thanks again!
View on GoogleIt’s expensive and doesn’t deserve the price. The taste is normal. Waste of money. Never go again.
View on GoogleSaw South Asian people coming here to eat so i think it’s pretty authentic? It was not crowded at all on a Saturday night. Food was quite good and the spiciness was good. Love the cup of water it was special.
