A neat, clean standing soba shop. The noodles are fairly thick, rustic-style soba. In the summer heat, I recommend bukkake with cold broth. It's seasoned just right to drink along with the soba. Wood ear mushrooms are unusual in soba, but they're a popular menu item. The photo shows squid tentacle tempura (220円). It's also nice that a large noodle serving is free.
View on GoogleThe dashi has a solid umami flavor that's comforting. Even as a standing spot near the station, it delivers a dependable bowl. The soba goes down smoothly, and the overall balance feels good🦊 The kitsune tofu is simmered to just the right sweetness and pairs well with the dashi. A simple bowl, but thoroughly satisfying. Just right when you want a quick meal—a place you can comfortably drop into.
View on GoogleA standing soba shop just across the intersection immediately outside JR神田駅's south exit Arrived around 12 on a weekday Bustling with office workers and constantly full Turnover is fast, so I got in without waiting First, order verbally It goes more smoothly if you also specify regular or large Tell them your toppings Pay before it's served Cash or paypay It's nice that a standing soba shop accepts paypay This time I had Regular soba 380円 Squid tentacle tempura 200円 Run by 3 women who move briskly without wasted effort, coordinate well, and seem friendly with each other—a good impression The Tokyo-style soba broth is fairly strong and slightly sweet, with a solid dashi flavor The soba is somewhat thick The squid tentacle tempura is kakiage-style, with chopped tentacles. There's a little less squid, but it's very satisfying for the price Satisfying overall too If this were at my nearest station, I'd be a regular I'd like to return when I'm nearby again Thanks for the meal
View on GoogleA standing soba shop in a great location, right near JR神田駅's アースジェット口 exit. It's incredibly busy at lunch, but people leave as soon as they finish, so turnover is good. As soon as you enter, they ask whether you want soba or udon. There are lots of options like tempura, making it hard to decide, but I ordered quickly. This time, regular kakiage soba for 500円. You pay when you receive your food; besides cash, I saw people showing their PayPay payment screens. The soba is thick & dark. I ate while watching regulars customize theirs with extra green onions, added wakame, and so on. Then I noticed large noodles are free, but extra dashi costs 20円. Why? A place where it's fun to wonder what to order next.
View on GoogleStanding soba about a 1-minute walk from JR神田駅's south exit. There are 3 counter areas inside. No chairs. Large servings of soba and udon are free. Unusually, they offer burdock tempura. It's commonplace in 福岡, but rather rare at standing noodle shops in 関東. 🟩Large burdock tempura soba (500円 including tax) Thick soba. The strongly soy-flavored kaeshi reminded me of かめや's. The burdock tempura here is kakiage-style. Some bites are quite firm. Do they have soba cooking water? The counter was packed with customers without a gap, so I didn't really feel able to ask. For me, I'd like to drink soba cooking water instead of plain water.😆 Well, that aside, I'm still a かめや fan among standing noodle places, but this has become another spot whose kaeshi I like.
