Very small place
View on GoogleVisited for a late lunch on Sunday, 2026年8月9日. It's on the 2nd floor of a building near 九段下. Since it's in a business district and it was around 14:00 on a Sunday, there were only 2 other customers. There are counter seats and seats at a large horigotatsu table with a recessed footwell. Orders are placed on a touchscreen. Water is self-service. I ordered the No1 most popular item, 「青椒肉絲定食」(980円 including tax), with less rice. The portion of 青椒肉絲 was satisfying, with plenty of bamboo shoots. It came with pickles, soup, a mini salad, and a mini 杏仁豆腐. The taste was neither good nor bad. I was satisfied with the value too. I pressed the checkout button on the touchscreen and paid at the register. Contactless credit card payment was available. The staff only appeared when serving the food and taking payment.
View on GoogleA Chinese restaurant on the 2F of a building very close to 九段下駅. Large windows give it a bright atmosphere. The spacious interior is long and narrow, with a counter and tatami seating extending to the back. I was shown to my seat by a staff member from China. The menu was on a tablet, with several noodle dishes and set meals, but I ordered 【冷やし中華】982円 and it arrived in about 5 minutes. The green, medium-thick curly noodles were topped with thinly sliced ham, menma, 錦糸卵, 味玉, tomato, and cucumber, with the sauce served separately. Personally, I liked dipping into the separately served sauce because it kept the flavor concentrated, rather than pouring it over the noodles and having it get increasingly watery. The ingredients were generally standard and inexpensive, but it was nice to enjoy their basic flavors and textures. Perhaps the noodles were green chlorella noodles. They had a springy texture with no particular flavor that I noticed, but they went well with the strongly tart, lightly sweet soy sauce dressing and were delicious. Partway through, I added chili oil for heat and richness, but the Japanese mustard provided seemed like it would suit this sauce better. The only disappointment was that the tomato pieces were too large, making them difficult to eat together with the other toppings and noodles. Overall, it was lightly sweet with a pronounced tartness that suited my taste, making for a satisfying bowl. Next time I'd like to come back for fried rice or warm noodles.
View on GoogleAbout a 7-minute walk from 九段下駅 I visited at lunchtime on Saturday It was bustling with families and office workers, and since around 10 of us came, we split into 3 groups It's nice that there are 2 lunch sets even on Saturdays ♪ There are also lots of noodle dishes and set meals, making it hard to choose I ordered a set meal with stir-fried eggs and shrimp as the main dish, plus rice, miso soup, pickles, salad, and chilled tofu for ¥1080 It had a light salty flavor, fluffy eggs, and plenty of shrimp—delicious! You can choose a small, regular, or large serving of rice, and even regular is quite substantial The main dish was generous too, so I was completely full~ There are counter seats and tatami seats, so it seemed convenient for families with children As the restaurant emptied out, they let us move seats and join our friends
View on Google2025 September Before a concert at 武道館, I checked the reviews and made my first visit to 季記, 90 minutes before the concert doors opened I opened the door and was immediately surprised! The tatami area on the left was almost full of people wearing tour T-shirts for the artist I was seeing that night At first I thought it was one big fan meetup, but they seemed to be seated in separate groups of 4〜5 I was shown to the last remaining table, right at the back It was so crowded that I worried whether my order would arrive in time But they're professionals, after all Every dish was delicious ♪ Few places nearby stay open continuously at that time of day, so I wondered whether it always gets that crowded on days with concerts at 武道館… I felt sorry for the lady serving, who was handling everything alone Still… From my seat at the back I could see the whole tatami area, and the amount of alcohol being ordered was hard to believe before a concert. I found myself worrying unnecessarily about whether everyone would be okay with toilet breaks during the show…… (haha Looking at the still-lively tatami area, I went to pay a little ahead of everyone else As I left, the kitchen staff and the lady serving came out to take out the rubbish Thanks for your hard work, the food was delicious ♪ I said to them, and they cheerfully replied, Thank you— ♪ Thanks to you, I had a fun concert experience ♪
