My favorite Szechuan Restaurant in Jimbocho. The lunch sets are really good and cheap! They even have free rice. For dinner you can always expect to find a table even with a group of more than 5 people. Definitely get the soup dumplings and the mapo tofu!
View on GoogleI went for lunch on a weekend. I was seated quickly. The menu is in Japanese. The staff aren't friendly but they are quick and efficient. I ordered the black pepper beef lunch set and the dumpling set. The black pepper beef portion was large, with a decent flavor, but the beef was very chewy. The soup dumplings were ok. I won't return.
View on GoogleIf you are loking for the traditional Chinese cuisine (Sichuan cuisine), I can confidently recommend that this will be the best restaurant for you. This is NOT Japanese-Chinese restaurant which serves Chinese cuisine modified for Japaese people BUT where you can enjoy the same taste in China. The menus are of Sichuan and hot taste ones. During lunch time, the payment is cash only.
View on GoogleOne of the best Sichuan Cuisine I had in this area. My favorite is their boiled dumplings. It has a deep spicy flavor that makes you want eat more. I will definitely come back here just for this.
View on GoogleThe staff were incredibly rude and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we sat down. While we were still eating, they came over and took our tray away without asking, even though it was obvious we were not finished yet. Being treated like this in the middle of a meal was uncomfortable, disrespectful, and honestly shocking. It felt like we were being rushed out rather than treated as guests. This kind of behavior completely ruins the experience and overshadows everything else. What makes this especially sad is that the food itself was actually good, and the atmosphere could have been really nice. With even a bit of basic politeness from the staff, this place could be so much better.
