This tea house is a great place to grab some delicious dessert and matcha treats! We did need to wait for seats, although it was actually a pretty quick process. The staff were very nice and welcoming, and also knew a decent bit of English with definitely was helpful. Great service, really cozy and traditional-esque atmosphere, the parfaits were delicious and overall had a very nice time here. Definitely recommend.
View on GoogleSaryo Tsujiri (茶寮都路里) on the 10th floor of Daimaru Tokyo is arguably the best spot in the city. As a Kyoto-born institution, they bring an authentic, high-end Uji tea experience right to the heart of the capital. You can taste the difference in the grade of matcha used. Whether it’s the soft serve, the jelly, or the whipped cream, the flavor is deep, earthy, and perfectly balanced—never overly sweet or artificial. The "Tokusen Tsujiri Parfait" is their masterpiece. It’s a towering work of art with layers of matcha sponge, chestnut, shiratama dango, and their signature tea-infused creams. Every bite offers a different texture. It is located on a high floor, the large windows offer a stunning look over the Tokyo Station area. It provides a serene, sophisticated escape from the frantic energy of the station below. In true Japanese fashion, the service is graceful and attentive. Even when it's busy, the atmosphere remains calm and traditional. Because this is one of the most famous tea houses in Tokyo, there is almost always a queue. However, the line moves efficiently, and the reward—that first spoonful of intense green tea ice cream—is well worth the 20-30 minute wait. It’s pricey for a dessert, but for the quality of the tea and the elegance of the presentation, it’s an essential Tokyo food experience.
View on GoogleSUPERB SERVICE!! The waiter who served me was great! I told him that I was in a hurry and would like to order immediately and have it made as fast as possible 😆 he nodded and understood the memo. Hotel green tea (comp) was served at the start. Wet wipes to clean hands. The matcha parfait and latte came out so quick that I was beyond impressed. BOTH the parfait and cold latte were delicious!!! And so beautifully presented. Check out my pictures. We paid just over 2000yen for it. A bit expensive for the average person. But it's such an amazing treat. Go for it! You deserve to treat yourself! We were able to catch the Shinkansen in good time with about 10 minutes to spare. Please compliment the male waiter for me. ❤️

This matcha parfait tower with an artsy mix of matcha & hojicha jelly, shiratama, azuki beans., matcha soft serve delivers a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. 都路里あんみつ (1,750 円). Anmitsu is topped with mochi-chewy shiratama, azuki beans and jelly. This classic anmitsu bowl’s combination of flavors and textures was so refreshing and satisfying. The delightful desserts here make it a perfect treat for matcha lovers!!
View on GoogleDefinitely the place to go if you are at Tokyo station and have a hankering for a matcha treat. Serves extensive menu of matcha based drinks, ice creams, parfaits, mochi and even matcha noodles. Friendly staff and quick service. Take the elevator to level 10 of Daimaru- it looks like a bonsai store when you first exit the lift, turn left and you will see the matcha store. There will probably be a line unfortunately but it’s worth it. The matcha parfait was delicious and approx 1600 yen.
