A hidden gem in the back streets of Akihabara. Although nestled directly amongst multiple large apartment stores, this place offers a quiet and relaxed dining experience that is well worth the demands of the owner. Cash only, pay up front, be polite. Also, learn how to work the switch board. It's essential.

It’s hard not to like this straight up beef bowl shop. It’s all about the gyudon (牛丼). It’s the one thing they serve so they should do it well, and they deliver. You can add an egg and miso soup for both under a hundred yen. The beef is tasty and you can get various sizes depending on how hungry you are. You can certainly eat for under 1000 yen. It has an old school vibe and is set up for a quick bite. Service was fast and friendly.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday by myself at 12 noon and able to get a seat without any wait (being by myself made it easier) You need to buy a ticket of what you want before lining up, menu is easy - size, with egg and with soup as options. The meal was good. Little sweeter than Standard gyoudon shops like sukiya or yoshinoya. The beef was also less fatty it felt which was a good thing. I ordered the nami size which was plenty - suprised at the size actually. I enjoyed the meal - if you want to try an old school style gyudon here is a great choice.

Really solid gyudon diner. Huge portion with raw egg and miso soup costs 1000¥ and tastes as good as I remember from 2 years back.

A local hidden gem in Akihabara. Food was served very quickly after I ordered. The portion is huge enough to fill your stomach and the price is pretty cheap for that.
