This is the place to go if you want to meet super local people in Jimbocho. The owner is super funny although he speaks only Japanese. Practise your Japanese with locals. Yoy will meet descendent of people living near the emperor’s palace for many Generations

20260409 I entered the shop for the first time timidly. There were several customers in the shop. All are counters. There are regular customers, but I drank alcohol in my own world comfortably in the noisy voice. I couldn't say it in the shop, but master, fried octopus and pork ginger grilled were delicious!

【Tuna nakaochi lunch set with excellent cost performance at onigiri izakaya‼】 This is a small izakaya with mostly counter seats in a very inconspicuous and plain building in the office district. They have izakaya menus centered on onigiri, but the lunch menu written on the blackboard includes yellowtail and kakuni, and the highly recommended one is the tuna nakaochi lunch set. The abundant amount of tuna nakaochi is very fresh and the seaweed miso soup is hot, this is definitely a perfect match for onigiri. I think it is a good service to be able to add rice toppings. It is a very small shop, but judging from the quality of this lunch, I was sure that the night would definitely be full of regular customers. Isn't it a cool way to drink lightly and go home with the premise of ending with onigiri?

I used it several times for lunch! I ate delicious rice and nakaochi. The master who quit his company job has been opening a shop in Jimbocho for nearly 20 years, It is an izakaya with a good atmosphere!
