After enjoying a curry lunch with friends, we headed to *さぼうる* for coffee. This iconic coffee shop in Jinboucho is well-known for its nostalgic, retro atmosphere, and it truly lived up to its reputation. We had to wait about 10 minutes to get in, as the place was bustling with both local and foreign tourists. I felt like stepping into a different time. We enjoyed a relaxed and memorable time there.

One of the coffee shops that represents 神保町, with an absolutely outstanding atmosphere. Even the exterior has a distinctive presence, and stepping inside feels like traveling back in time. The wood-centered interior and slightly dim lighting preserve an atmosphere that is hard to find these days, and I think that alone makes it worth visiting. Spending time daydreaming over a coffee is very pleasant. My impression is that this is a place to enjoy the space itself more than the taste, and I can really see why it has been loved for so many years. A lovely coffee shop full of 神保町's characteristic charm; overall, I give it 4 stars.

I always thought it was crowded, so I hadn't had much chance to go in, but I happened to visit around 18:00 and got in right away✨ Even around 18:00 it was almost full😅 So popular lol Ordered cream soda (blue) and cheesecake. You can choose from 7 colors for the cream soda. Blue is Blue Hawaii. I was picturing a triangular cheesecake, but unexpectedly got a round one, which surprised me a little.
