The tempura was wonderfully crispy, and each piece came with its own dipping sauce, which added a unique flavor to every bite. I was also happy that they offered vegan options for me, and I really enjoyed them. The tempura was a little oily, but that’s to be expected with tempura. Overall, I loved the experience and would definitely recommend this place, especially for the crispy tempura and the variety of dipping sauces.

View on GoogleVisited for lunch with friends on the weekend. The interior felt smaller than I expected, but it was comfortable. All the floor staff were foreigners, but everyone was smiling and the service was good! I had the 2,800円 course on Ikkyu, which included 1 drink. All the kushiage was delicious. Everything came out at just the right time, and I was full.
View on GoogleOne of the restaurants in the basement dining area of TOKIA. It sits like a hidden gem among the restaurants with long lines, but it offers good-value kushiage. The interior is a little cramped, and at the counter (especially near the entrance), you bump into people passing behind you, but the dim lighting gives it atmosphere. Freshly fried kushiage was arranged on the plate on the counter, and finally came the long-awaited whole fried asparagus! Even the uncoated bottom part was crisp to eat, and it was delicious. It seemed that rice and miso soup could be refilled.
