It is a restaurant with showa style interior. I order omurice and it already includes coffee or tea, that being served after we finished the meal. The staff were all middle age and they all very attentive and helpful. When I was there, a lot of customer seems 40-50s y.o. and I guess this resto was very famous and has nostalgic feeling for the people.

Nice showa style coffee cafe! Not so much crowded despite the location! Highly recommended for whom is seriously looking for seats!

a very old cafe, but clean and comfortable. the cake set was nice because the ice cream was unexpectedly good.

Japanese "kissaten".. traditional coffee shop. Relax, have a great cup of coffee and if you're in the mood for a snack, there's no better place. Royal is a great example of just such a place. Don't know if it will continue to be smoking ok for much longer but the food is good and the atmosphere is relaxing.
