Local, corner shop serving soba and udon at a great price. Only a few seats at the counter. Was recommended the tempura squid legs (いかげそ) as a topping and it was great. Good spot for a quick meal. Had the noodles in front of me 30 seconds after walking in the door.
View on GoogleLoved it. To everyone looking for a quick and warm meal, surrounded by locals. It may not be the best soba nor tempura but the experience is memorable. Fast-service: wrapped up in 10 minutes, Price: average 500-700¥. Queue: 1’ on a Wednesday at 12:30! Not bad.
View on GoogleSuper old school standing soba noodle joint. You don’t really stand but get on a small stool. Each bow is about 500 yen or less and you can add whatever fried toppings they have or an egg. This is breakfast meant to quickly be eaten and leave. Gets pretty popular at 8am.
View on GoogleOne of the best udon noodles out there. Sure it's not fancy but the owners are friendly and the price is perfect. This was a great find
View on GoogleStanding restaurant serving buckwheat noodles in a hot soup with deep fried stuff in it. It’s simple, good, cheap and fast. Some basic Japanese is useful, or just prepare a picture to show from your phone beforehand. I recommend the “ika geso ten soba” (deep fried squid tentacles).
